Reader Amy spotted mail in rebates on bags of Precious String Cheese. The rebates are for $5 back when you buy 2 bags and the bags were priced at $2.98 at her store- so .48 each after rebate!
It looks like you can also submit the rebate 5 times per household.
I saw the same peelies at my Safeway store but I wanted to wait for a sale to buy them.
I don’t see any coupons for Precious Cheese BUT reader Cathy found the same rebate peelie on Frigo Cheese Sticks at Raley’s/Bel Air markets.
These were priced at $2.50 each and there is a coupon for .50/1 HERE or in 5/2 SS- making them better than free after rebate!
So keep an eye out at your stores! Remember peelies are only intended for people that are actually purchasing the item at that moment- so hopefully you find these as well!

Another website I follow recently stated that it IS OK to take the peelies from packages and save them for a later purchase. How do we know what the companies who placed them there feel about it?
Emily I just think it isn’t courteous myself. I am sure the companies put them there for you to use on the spot otherwise it would be in the form of a blinkie, a printable rebate or in the paper. That is my opinion so maybe others will share their opinions. I know there are a lot of people that will clear an entire shelf of peelie coupons and then everyone misses out so I guess I just have a no tolerance rule 😉
Sorrento had the same rebate peelies with the same number of times allowed. And better yet, they had coupons recently, so this was a moneymaker!
Stop and Shop had the Sorrento string cheese on sale 2 for $6 last week. Plus there was a $3 coupon on 2, and the $5 off 2 peelie (they allowed 5/household as well). I didn’t see it until the last day, or I would have posted it. I managed to get 4 packages and sent in two rebates. This was a significant money maker. I spent $6 and will get $10 back.
And I have low fat string cheese to train my dogs!
