Old Navy Update!

06/12/2010

I popped into Old Navy really fast to get a few of the $2 tank tops. They have little ones for toddlers at $2 as well as juniors and adults.  My store was almost wiped out but here us a quick tip if you plan to head on in.  The cashier that rang me up said to just grab any size and any color and you will pay the $2 price (TODAY ONLY).

In a week or so, you can head back and do an even exchnage at Old Navy for the correct sizes and colors.  I thought that was a great tip!

My store also had mountains of clearance- everything was priced at 30% off the clearance prices so there were deals on just about everything.  I don’t know if this is available everywhere- you can always make a phone call and check.

If you missed the $1 flip flop sale a few weeks ago, they had mountains of flip flops for kids for $2 today.  These are great for pool parties or swim lessons!

If you hit Old Navy today let me know how it went for you!

I got to Old Navy at 7am. My store was giving out $5/$25 coupons when we walked in the door. I grabbed 3 tank tops, a lace cami, a pair of jeans, a purse, and another shirt and my total was $21.80. I used a gift card so I got it all for free essentially. =o)

I had a GREAT trip. Woulda been better if I went when it opened (didn’t know it opened early, so being there at 9 was actually late!). I did the same tank top trick….got some but will exchange for the right size/color next week. Also got a sportsbra on clearance for $4.xx, a cute short sleeve top for $3.xx, kids garden tools (that were 50% off) and the best purchase…..the toy area has lots at 75% off…so 3 sets of 200 Thomas the Train stickers for $0.50 each!!!! Woohooo!!! That was my fave part of the trip! :o )
Thanks for the heads up on the ON sale – I would have missed it w/out MFA!

My store was sold out of white tanks by the time I got there. Luckily I decided to buy extra black ones! Thanks to your exchange tip I can go get some white ones next week!! Thanks!!!

i got there 2 hrs after opening and i still had a good selection to choose from. it seems to me like they got smarter this time and kept more variety on hand to keep up with the demand. so i had a $10/$50 coupon off the old navy website, and ended up getting 5 tank tops, 1 denim skirt, and 3 polos for my hubby for a grand total of $43.89. Not too shabby!

I went at 7am and scored 5 tanks, 3 polos for the hubbie ($8 each), 1 casual shirt & 2 work shirts on clearance (also 30% off), a pair of flip flops for myself (womens on sale 2/$5 but rang up at $2 each) and a roll of wrapping paper (on clearance) for just over $50, used 10/50 and the discount took care of the tax. I thought a pretty good score. Good tip on the tanks – I know they were out of my size at 10am.

7 tanks for me, 6 shirts for my husband, 1 pair of jammies and a t-shirt for the baby only $54.76!!!! That’s how much the tanks would have been alone on this non-sale day! LOVE IT!!!!

My store was limiting each customer to only 5, so that’s all I was able to get :(

Charlene June 12, 2010 at 8:23 PM

Right- Randi that is always the limit per person on these one day sales. I think I had that in the original post. If you bring the kiddos or your husband next time you can get 5 each.

I called my local store yesterday and bought the shirts yesterday. Had every color and size to choose from. Today I took my receipt in and they gave me a price adjustment. The best part was I did not have to get there early! Thanks, Charlene, for the heads up on this deal. I love your site and appreciate all you do.
