New CVS Coupons

Did you all get an email from CVS yesterday?  Mine had a choice of a free gift- either antibacterial wipes or shave cream.

But I wanted to mention that you might scroll down from the free gift coupon and check to see the other two coupons in the email.  They are easy to overlook and mine are pictured above.  I got $1 off Huggies wipes and $2 off Off! Spray.

I heard from a few of you that were lucky enough to receive $5/2 Hawaiian Tropic coupons!!  If you got that one there is a great ECB deal this week.

You have a few options for this coupon:

Buy 2 Hawaiian Tropic Ozone Sunscreen sticks $5.99
Use $5/2 Hawaiian Tropic coupon
Pay $6.98 and get a $10 ECB back!

OR

Buy 2 Hawaiian Tropic at $9.99
Use (2) $1/1 coupons
and use the $5/2 coupon
Pay $12.98 and get a $10 ECB back!!
*If you find the $2 peelies on the bottles this turns into a moneymaker!

You can mix and match any 2 Hawaiian Tropic items (either the sticks priced at $5.99 or $6.99 or the regular sunscreen priced at $9.99) any way you like.

Did anyone else get another coupon?

Hi! I have signed up for CVS emails but I never get any. The only ones I get are the weekly ads. Any thoughts? Should I just call them to figure it out? I’ve tried to go back and sign up again but it says that my email is already registered.

I have tried signing up for emails twice and I never seem to get them. The second time I got one email and then haven’t received anymore. Are you supposed to get them on a weekly basis or are they just random?

I just received the H Tropic coupon. Do I have to use it with the card, that I think is linked with the e-mail? I already got the deal. My other card I have not, and I was planning on using that card to get another deal.

    Hi Charlene,

Thanks for the reminder. I got the hawaiin tropic sunscreen and will do that and the wipes. Since we are traveling on vacation next week, both of these will be very handy.

I received these coupons too…after I drove 20 minutes to CVS and did the Hawaiian Tropic deal 🙁 Oh well, I still only paid $5 for two sunscreens, which based on normal price, is a good deal!

I haven’t been receiving coupons from CVS since before Christmas. I’ve tried to sign up again and it says that I’m already receiving them. Strange????

Nappie– Umm.. technically I don’t think the coupons are linked to the exact card but for sure you can only use one per card. Also I think it is probably the right thing to do to just use the card it was meant for even if you have 2 cards and only use it once.

They are randomly sent out Kelsey. Have you clicked on the link at the top of my CVS posts just to be sure you registered the right place? Also mine goes to my inbox but I know lots of people never check spam so you might be sure you aren’t missing them there.

I printed my free items coupon from CVS but I didn’t see the in-store coupons. Thanks for the information! I had the $5 Hawaiian Tropic coupon and a $2 for any Maybelline Eye Studio Shadow or Gel Liner. Can’t wait to go there after work.

I wrote to CVS a few months ago because I hadn’t received any emails for the first few months I was registered. The response I got was that they are sent out based on shopping patterns. So I guess the more you shop there the more you get.

Thanks for pointing this out, I definitely missed it =)

Valerie. That might be. I honestly shop there maybe 2x a month or so. I really don’t go a ton. In my opinion, I have a suspicion it has to do with when you signed up. I signed up last March or so when they opened CVS in Nor CA. I seem to get a ton of coupons from them and I wonder if that is why.

We have 2 CVS cards (1 for me and 1 that hubby signed up for because he lost his keys with my card on it) and I’ve signed both up for CVS emails but only get them at the email address linked to hubby’s card…and that’s not the card that I use regularly. I didn’t realize that they were linked to a particular card until this week. I use the email coupons with my card but they always beep and the cashier pushes them through but this week I used both my card and hubby’s to do the diaper deal twice and used a $5/$25 coupon with hubby’s card and it didn’t beep at all. As soon as I spend the ECB for my card I guess I’ll just switch to using hubby’s card all the time now…and then the emails will probably stop! LOL

When I scaned the card in the coupon thing in the store I got $4 off $20 so my sunblock cost $2.98 and I got 10 ECB’s back!!!

(I did use the free gift and 2 try me free items as a filler to bring it to the $20.00)

I signed up for CVS emails last June and did receive the coupons until Jan or Feb of this year when they just completely stopped. I emailed them and they told me that I should begin receiving them again in 3 weeks or so, but I never did. So I called the 800 number and they basically told me that they have no control over who gets those coupon emails and that it’s based on your shopping habits. I was really annoyed that I got 2 different answers, but nothing I could do about it. I must say though that I rarely shop at CVS now because of it. I really counted on those great coupons!! 🙂
