My Target Trip

Here was my trip from earlier today.ย  Since the Sobe’s are such a deal- even if you don’t drink them you might grab some for any summer BBQ’s you might have!

Transaction #1:

10 Sobes at $1 each- used (4) BOGO Sobe coupons and 1 Target mobile coupon
Schick Hydro 5 razor at $7.99- Used $4/1 Target coupon plus $5/1 manufacturer coupon
Coppertone SPF 30 #3.99- Used $4/1 coupon
4 Aveeno Body Wash $1.25- Used (2) $2/2 coupons

I paid $7.05 with tax and CRV and got a $5 gift card back

Then I bought the Kids and Pets spray for $4.74- after tax it was $5.13. I used the $5 gift card and I will submit a rebate for $4.74 back from Kids and Pets plus $3.99 from Schick!

So everything in the picture was not only free- but I made about a $1 profit to buy it.

NOTE: As I mentioned before- the Target coupon does automatically change the price on the Schick razor to $3.99- so that will be the rebate amount I get back.

NOTE #2: For the Sobe waters- I was able to print the BOGO coupon from the heads or tails game 4 times!! Also be sure to look for the black caps on the bottles you select so you can enter the codes for even more coupons!

i noticed the sobe water has a little ‘kick’ to it so be wary if you are sensitive to caffiene(like me). I had trouble going to sleep, since I wasn’t able to go to bed @ 2am! no more of that for me….

Just wanted to check with you if the Coppertone $4 coupon beeped. My target is not very friendly when it comes to beeping coupons, so I don’t want to get too excited about this deal just yet. Thanks for your help.

I won a coupon for a completely free sobe from heads or tails and someone on my sweeps board won a nano!

Whoa! Thank you so much for catching that (printing SoBe BOGO 4 times)! I actually went back into my history to find the link and printed twice more, lol.

was just wondering, what you had to do to print your coupons. mine will not just print after the game, it says thank you and here are your coupons but they never come up. thank you

Rachel- I think it said thank you and I clicked until a bricks coupon came up. That coupon I was able to print 4 times.

Madison- I am sorry but I didn’t even notice. I am pretty sure it didn’t- the Aveeno did but I don’t think the others did.

Charlene, which paper did you find the $4 /1 schick target coupon? I live in nor cal and the paper I bought today didn’t have it. Trying to get out for papers tonight if possible. Thanks for your help!

Denise it was in the Sac bee today along with the Coppertone. No Ben Gay though.

I went to Target today and bought the 10 SOBE waters for my husband to take to work. I used (4) BOGO coupons and (4) .50/1 Target coupons. I paid $4 plus tax and got a $5 gift card. I had my coupons printed already from the last SOBE deal. I accidentally forgot to go to Target last time, so glad my ink and paper were not wasted.

Thanks so much for the info, Charlene! And actually, is there a way in general to determine what papers in One’s area will receive which inserts (not just the RP vs SS or Both, but more like which will have the coupon value that you are interested in)? They must be classified one way or another. Now, if that exists, THAT would be great info! Appreciate your help. Have a great week!

Charlene, look in the Redplum again for the Bengay coupon. I get the Sac bee and mine had the 2.00 bengay one.

I got the cruddy coupon but no rebate. I wanted the rebate ๐Ÿ˜› No worries it will be super cheap after ECB next week so I am good.

Watch your pop-up blockers on the Sobe Game Website…..If you can’t get it to print the first time, it won’t let you login & play again (even if the print didn’t work the 1st time). Also, don’t enter the code from you cap on the same day that you play the “free” game on the site–If you win, it will not let you print anymore coupons for the day.

I won a BOGO coupon on Sunday, then another today, but it won’t let me print anymore coupons (stating that I’ve already printed the number of times allowed)… anyone else having this problem? I did contact SoBe about it since the rules say you can win an unlimited amount of prizes that are under $25.

  19. Erica Daniels says

    06/22/2010 at 10:57 AM

I spoke to customer service… she said that there is a limit of 4 coupons, whether BOGO or free in the mail. I suggested they add that snippet in their rules.

I wasn’t able to do the Sobe deal today. They said that because the BOGO coupon says “one per purchase”, I could only use one of the coupons, but you have to buy all 10 in one transaction. I told them it was “one per purchase” and I was purchasing 10, it was not one per transaction, but they would not change their mind. I’m going to try again tonight or tomorrow, but is there anything in the coupon policy that backs them up? It seems unclear, like they could say the coupon “prohibits it”. Any ideas?

Valerie- your best bet is to call Target customer service from the store and have them set the cashier straight. I don’t see anything in the coupon policy that addresses this specifically and I absolutely hate when cashiers try to pull that one on me ๐Ÿ˜›

as if you didn’t already have a million bottles of men’s body wash, here a target deal I did today..

buy 3 Old spice body wash for 3.54 each

use 1 bogo Q for Old spice body wash = 3.54
    use 1 $1 off Q for Old spice body wash = 2.54

6.08 plus tax (receive a $5 Target GC) so 3 body wash for $1.08 plus tax

p.s. I bought the odor blocker ones and they came with a free trial size deodorant
