Well this week is a little crazy at the MFA house. We are moving next weekend and things have been super busy packing, organizing and getting ready to move. I am going to try not to buy anything until we have moved except a few necessities here and there. I didn’t do any real shopping this week except milk and dog food at Costco since we are going to try and eat as much as we can from the fridge. The only real meal I have on the agenda this week is a tomato couscous salad.
We are packing up most of the kitchen so I have a few frozen dinners that are quick and easy in the freezer and that will probably be about it for this week.
So this is the first week in ages I have no shopping trip for you guys- I’d love to hear how you all did this week? Any great deals you found?
I went to safeway-.99 for red/yellow peppers. yum!

-ground beef value pack-2.69 a lb. our total bill for the week was about 88. 🙂 and I didn’t even have to use alot of coupons…
I did AWESOME this week at Rite Aid. LOL I had a subtotal of negative 4 cents after my coupons and before tax. After tax total was $1.16. I bought:
2 Old Spice Deodorant
2 Old Spice Body Wash
2 Gillette Body Wash
1 Bayer Asprin
After coupon total is $1.16 and I have $4.49 coming back in rebates. I had to actually keep 3 of my $1 off coupons because of how the sales/coupons worked out. 😀 I also got a $1 off any household purchase. I found this can pretty much be used on any purchase.
Didn’t you just move? Happy packing!…. and then unpacking! Bleh, I don’t envy you – we just moved a few months ago and I still have boxes to unload! Mostly because of all the stuff I’ve been stockpiling!

Long story short we moved for a year to pile up some money so we can do renovations on our real house 🙂 So we are doing all sorts of projects right now before we officially move in. Crazy! We really are debt free except the mortgage and we really don’t use credit cards and loans and things. So cash or nothing. We have been crammed in a little townhouse to cut expenses way back to get enough cash to do all sorts of projects.

Soo happy at Safeway! With the buy 8 get 4 back tostitos tortilla chips were $1.77. There are $1 Peelies on each bag! Yay!!!!
I did a run to Safeway. Bought a lot of bbq sauce and some other Buy 8 items. But also had to fill in some items I was out of. So it wasn’t a killer transaction.
