I have no idea what cities will find these coupons but I am hopeful that some of you might get lucky!
I heard from reader Lisa that she got special coupons in her newspaper for CVS today in NY. Reader Bonnie also let me know that she found them on the Sacramento Bee. A few of you said you got them on Facebook- it looks like the Bay Area, the LA Times from yesterday, Chicago Tribune and Houston papers have them!
I picked up a paper and these are the coupons that I had:
Free 12pk Pepsi with $20 purchase through 6/19
$5 off any cosmetic, skin, hair or fragrance purchase over $15 through 6/19
$5 off any summer seasonal purchase over $10 through 6/19
Yeah!! Now these can be used on this week’s deals OR since they don’t expire until Saturday, you can probably overlap them on next weeks deals too!
Here is one idea for this week:
Buy 2 Neutrogena Sunscreen at $9.99 each
Use $5/15 CVS skin care coupon
Use (2) $2/1 suncare coupons
Final Price: $10.98 and get a $10 ECB back!! (Thanks Lisa!)
Now this might be a little stretch but worth a shot:
Buy 2 Gillette or Old Spice Body Wash at $4 each*
Buy 1 Nivea Sun Kissed Beautiful Legs at $7.99
Subtotal: $15.99
Use $5/15 Skin care CVS coupon
Use Buy One Get One Free Gillette or Old Spice from 6/6 P&G
Use $1/1 Nivea from 5/2 RP
Final Price: $5.99 and get $8 in ECBs for the body wash Plus $3 in ECBs for the Nivea! That is a $5 profit!
If your store will also allow the $4/2 Gillette Body Wash coupon from 5/2 P&G- even better!
*Please double check your ad as many areas did not get this ECB offer.
I am not sure if this will work- but here is an idea for the Summer seasonal coupon:
Buy 2 sunglasses and get $10 ECB- they start at $5.99
{Deal idea}
Buy 2 at $5.99= $11.98
Use $5/10 summer seasonal
Pay $6.98 and get a $10 ECB back!
So it will depend on your store what they consider “skin” items and what they consider “summer seasonal” items.
There are tons of ways to make these coupons really work for you. See this week’s deals HERE– and I will have next week’s deals up tomorrow! There are some especially good deals on nicer Olay products this week that would qualify for skin care.
If you find these in your paper- please let us know which one it was!

Hi Charlene, I am at work right now and do not have my CVS ad in front of me to refer to, but I don’t think we (in our Sac Bee ad) on Sunday had the deal for the “Buy 2 Gillette or Old Spice Body Wash at $4 each (get $4 ECB/on each)” deal this week. I am not sure if I missed it, but have you heard it is working here even though it wasn’t in the ad???? Thank You!
ALICJA says
Is it in the LA Times from today too, or just yesterday’s?
Charlene says
Sorry I don’t know about the Times. A reader said it was in the Times yesterday and that is all I got Alicja.
Charlene says
Oh yeah I heard all about that this weekend Bonnie!! I better make that note.
Amy T. says
So Charlene, are you hearing that that $8 mm is working even though it wasn’t advertised????
Charlene says
Amy no I don’t think anyone tried it. It seems like 5 states or so got cheated out of the deal. I think that Nivea scenario could still work with the Amazemint lip gloss and a filler.
Maybe this:
Amazemint $4.99
Nivea lotion $7.99
Nivea Lip Balm $2.49
Use $1/1 Cover Girl
use $1/1 Nivea
Use $1/1 Nivea
Use $5 coupon
Pay $7.47 and get $3 back for CG and $3 for Nivea… might be a better deal but that is off the top of my head.

I saw it this morning on the San Jose Mercury News.
Lisa says
Hi – thanks for posting my idea! It worked!!!! Wow. Neutrogena sunscreen for 50 cents. Awesome.
Denise says
If you got/get the $3 off $15 off any sun care CRT this week, this is a $2 MM.
Lori says
Not seeing the mid-week coupons in the DC or Baltimore papers. 🙁
Kristin S says
It says on the coupons that it cannot be combined with other CVS coupons. So does that mean we cannot use EB’s with the coupon? Also, can we not use the pepsi coupon with the $5/15?!?
Charlene says
Kristin, ECBs should be fine. I do not think you can combine the Pepsi one though because I did read that note as well. You’d have to do another transaction for the Pepsi.
Kristin S says
Thanks Charlene. So I take it the $5/25 I got in my e-mail today will also NOT work with these??
Charlene says
Kristin from what the coupon says- no. Now if your store decides to let you stack- well hooray for you.
Laura says
I live in Michigan and the Detroit Free Press had it on the cover. I did get the free pop and $5 off skin care with buying the sun tan lotion which will all go great this weekend for my daughter’s pool party.
Thank you Charlene 🙂
The funny thing is that I have my brother doing coupons and he called me to remind me to stop and get the paper!
