You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Today at my Safeway I picked up a free coupon and recipe book. It was located in the dairy scetion right in front of the milk. It contains $26 in dairy coupons. Some are manufacturer’s and some are store. Four cheese coupons were the ones I noticed right away. Yeah!
My store circular also included Snyder’s Pretzels for $1.88 per bag. With last week’s $1/1 (I think it was last week – this is harder to keep organized that I appreciated! Charlene, you’re amazing!) they would be .88 a bag. There were also little pads of $1/2 coupons for Lays last week, which I grabbed because of your advice, so now the Lays this week are $1.27!

ok went to Safeway today and here are my notes: the sweet baby rays was $3.35 in Sacramento, so it would be 2 for $2.35 with BOGO & $1 off Q
there were some blinkies at my store for Oscar Meyer lunch meat (2 / $3.99) less $1/2 Q made it 2 for $3 (submit for the Kraft rebate)
the Wheat Thins are $2 and there is a $1 off Q on Facebook that you can print twice so you can get the Wheat Thins for $1 / each.
there is a Q book in the Dairy (cheese) aisle with some yogurt and dairy Q’s.
This is awesome. I have tons of .75/2 Powerade (x5/31) coupons that I picked up a Wawa. I wasn’t going to buy anymore since my basement is already full.. but you can’t beat FREE!
Just returned from Safeway and in the ad was a Safeway coupon for 2.00 off Energizer or Duracell AA or AAA 8-10 ct, C or D 4 ct, 9 volt 2 ct, Ultra AA or AAA 8 count. The Energizer 10 ct AA and AAA were marked 4.99, use 2.00 store coupon, and 1.00 coupons.com making them 1.99. There is also currently a P&G E-saver for 1.00 off Duracell 8+ pk. Not the best price in the world, but I prefer name brand batteries 🙂
Mount Olive pickles 24oz are BOGO at $2.69, and my Safeway had blinkies for $0.75 off one. Used two coupons, got them at $0.60 each.
