The Tugaboos ad perk coupon says that it’s good on “any one” Tugaboos. Do you think it will work on the 99 cent packages?

Charlene May 22, 2010 at 9:04 AM

I know a lot of stores are a massive pain about adjusting coupons down. I suppose you could give it a shot!

But my understanding is that this was posted everywhere to get them free but the coupons were changed both inside the package and the VV coupons to say Jumbo a few weeks ago. So I think the older coupons inside the packages said any and they changed them weeks ago to read Jumbo.

With the Olay rebate – I noticed that the normal retail on the cream and serum are $29.99 each, on sale this week at $22 each. The RA rebate requires one of each. The Olay rebate requires $50 of Olay product. Would the Olay rebate be looking at the $29.99 price or the $22 price?

Charlene May 23, 2010 at 7:37 PM

Lori I think the Olay will ring up on your receipt as $22 so I don’t think the $29.99 would work. It would be different if it was like a $29 price with an in ad coupon to $22.

Did you know that you have to buy Olay Regenerist micro sculpting cream AND olay regenersit micro sculpting serum in order to get the $20 rebate? It’s not mix and match, it’s one of each… Sad, my store ran out of the serum and all they had left was the cream… So I cannot buy it. (Corvallis, Oregon)

Coupongirl, did you ask for a raincheck? Usually you can submit rebates for the products after the period has ended as long as you have a raincheck.

Thanks so much! I ran the Rite Aid deal with the Olay products (my nearby Rite Aid ran out of the products, but my nice husband called 2 other local stores to find one that had the items). You need to purchase both the serum and the cream, but I used 3 $5 off coupons from the P&G saver and purchased the Olay Regenerist detoxifying pore scrub ($9.99) as my filler item. I think the cheapest Regenerist product I saw was $8.99. You can also get a free magazine subscription for purchasing $30 worth of qualifying items here: http://www.condenastdirect.com/PGPromotion/. I saw on another blog that instead of taking the magazine subscription, you could try to request a refund for an additional $12, using a copy of the store receipt. I guess they called and confirmed that a copy would be accepted, but you may want to call them just in case to make sure.
