I finally got the May coupon book for Safeway stores. These are typically found near the pharmacy or the health and beauty aisles in the stores. These can be found at any of the family of stores.
Here are the coupons in this month’s copy. These are all manufacturer coupons so they can be used at any store.

I think the two highlights for me from the coupon book are:
Scotch Brite Sponges are .83 at Walmart- use the $1/2 and get them for .33!
Nexxus has a sale next week at CVS- Spend $20 and get a $10 ECB back.
The 5.1 oz Shampoo is about $5.19 (projected price)
So Buy 4 at $5.19= $20.76
Use (4) $2/1 coupons
Pay $12.76 and get a $10 ECB back!

I got mine last week. My store actually had them on the counter at the customer service desk and you could just grab them there.
Hello!! In the upcoming weeks, can’t remember when exactly…Walgreens is having a FARR for Complete solution. The $2 coupon would make for a great money maker!! I can never find these at our store, gotta search high and low. Thanks for a great site!

I used the Coppertone coupon at Target, they currently have the 6oz spray on sale for $6, so $4 after the coupon. I have trouble getting good sunscreen deals, so I was happy with this!
just a heads up – i picked up the same coupon book the other night and noticed that one of the coupons actually says for use at Safeway only. can’t remember which one off the top of my head.
Sarah if you see which coupon it was let me know. I looked again and they all say MFR but then again I was wrong once before… a few years ago I think. 😉
Arm & Hammer detergent is on sale at Safeway for 2.99, so the $1 off coupon makes it $1.99.
I got a couple of these booklets as well, I was excited about the st ives lotion coupon since the travel size lotion is 97¢ at Target, so after coupon=FREE!….also walgreens will be having a RR deal on Ecotrin in a couple weeks buy one @$2, get $2RR…so after coupon=FREE +$2 Money maker!! woohoo!
oooooo by the way….the Coppertone coupon is the one that says “valid only at safeway”. 🙂
there is also 1 dollar coupon for St. Ives lotion does not say any size, so you can use it in Target at the travel section.

It was just the sunscreen one that said only at Safeway – everything else was Mfr Q.
Not sure if the Ecotrin Q in the booklet will work for the Ecotrin Aspirin product for next weeks deals at Wags though.

NO! I can’t find Skrek at my store but I might check another store.
The Coppertone one confuses me with the small “only at Safeway” wording because it says Manufacturer’s at the top , it looks to me like it would work anywhere.
Darn!!! I’ve looked everywhere at my VONS everytime I go , and I can’t find these coupon’s ! I’m starting to think my store dosen’t carry these!! 🙁
I got mine last week too…and lots of Shrek-tacular $10 books at my store still.
Oh brother, I committed coupon fraud with the whole Coppertone at Target thing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a manufact. coupon that said “valid only at …”. Hopefully Target gets reimbursed, I am sure that’s not my first or last coupon mistake…
