I went to Albetson’s for the first time yesterday to try and buy FOster Farms fresh chicken breasts. They had a BOGO coupon for up to 3 packages and I had 2.50 off coupons as well. The manager efused to let me buy more than one package with my coupon…even though it said it was good for up to 3 free packages. She insisted that it meant up to 3 free pounds. Which still didn’t make any sense to me. Long sotry short…I got her to remove the chicken from my bill and got my coupons back. I told her that the coupon was confussing and I wouldn’t be shopping there again. Well, last night she tracked down my phone number thru my loyalty card and she apoligized. She said that she was wrong and if I came back I could get the 3 free packes, ans use my 3 2.50 coupons, and she would give me a 5.00 gift card for my troubles. I am impressed, and while I generally find Albertson’s to be the most expensive store in my area, I will now go back for sale items. Thank you to the manager for taking the time to look into the coupon, rack me down, an call to apologize.
