This Saturday, April 17th you can head into Toys R Us for a free playdate from 11-1pm featuring Thomas the Train!
It says there will be: Storytime, coloring fun, Thomas trivia, special offers and free gifts.
This also says it is for children 3 and up with parental supervision and all gifts are first come first serve.
You can also get a $5 coupon HERE for Mega Blocks Thomas and Friends Busy Day at the Quarry playsets.
And this provides a great excuse for mama (or Dad!) to bring the coupons! I love hunting around TRU for unexpected deals!

We went to the last Thomas event and it was nice, but not a big deal. The Toys R us staff was slow on getting things together. But we received a pack of Thomas trading cards that my son loved. It was a short and sweet stop….
TRU did 2 of these last year. One was in April and the other September. The April one I went to and at that one if you had the coupon from the site you got a free train. It was a nice treat for my boys.
Just curious – for those of you who have been there before, how big of a deal is the age limit? Our son is 2.5 and is absolutely wild about Thomas. I’d love to take him if the age isn’t an issue….
Oh Elizabeth you will be fine. I suspect they just don’t want babies or maybe mamas looking for free daycare 🙂 I am thinking of taking my 2 1/2 year old as well. She loves Thomas too!
I plan on taking my 18 month old….he loves Thomas so much.
Last year my youngest son was 23 months and I took him no problem.
