I just found a great deal on handbags at Target, using the new coupons I told you about here.
There are tons of different Merona handbags on clearance from $3.75 to $6.48! There are also some really cute summer handbags that are regular price of $9.99.
These are great for the summer, they are a nice size too!

You can print 2 coupons per computer so I got the larger pink tote for $1.48, the orange bag was free plus I got the free Earth bag bag as well! I have two birthdays coming up and I am going to include these with a few other items to make some very expensive gifts. One other idea if you can find those bigger tote bags- you can designate the bags for certain activities like say a beach bag- fill it with everything you need like towels, sunscreen etc.. and leave it hanging in a closet or on a nail in the garage and you are ready to go in just a minute to all your summer activities.
EDITED: It looks like Target has just pulled this coupon so I really hope you got it while it lasted! As I mentioned before you do want to grab the good coupons when they are available because they can be gone at any time. The other Merona coupons are still available so I would for sure grab those while you still can!

Did the coupon beep for you on the $5.00 one? I tried to buy it with the coupon and it beeped and the cashier said you can’t use this coupon. She said the bag is 5 and the coupon is for 5, you have to buy a handbag more than the coupon amount. I said that’s not what the coupon states. She said well you can’t use it. It was late and I didn’t want to argue, and she definitely wasn’t changing her mind. So no purse for me.
I got the pink tote for $1.48 too. Love it! It is perfect for summer, lots of room and very cute. THanks for the tip! I am going to pick up another one tomorrow. 🙂
Oh, another Target find today…Webkinz for $6.48 on clearance. This is the one with a larger one and a smaller one, regular $9.99. THey had 3 different animals at my store.
I was able to snag to small purses tonight! Both were $3.75. How great is that!?!?
Boo Madison! No it did not beep and my friend got (2) of the $5 ones as well no problems. You might try another cashier or you can call Target customer service to complain.
My coupon DID beep but she pushed it through!
I was able to get 3 free and paid $5 for one (could have gotten another one for free but I really liked the pattern!)
My mom also got two for free, out the door with purses and a receipt, paid nothing!
The coupons did beep, each time they just did an override.

Can anyone tell me why I cannot print Target coupons . I install coupon activator and it says “installed” then nothing happens. Would appreciate any input
I was also refused. I tried buying two priced at $7 (one was the blue one pictured above) and the cashier said that the coupon wasn’t good for sale items. I had oral surgery on saturday and didn’t feel like arguing. I’m so disappointed. I wanted these to finish up mother’s day gifts. I might try again if I feel like getting out of the house again later. 🙁
Jennifer maybe you can call Target customer service before you leave an address it with them? They will usually call the store on your behalf to straighten out any issues. The coupon does not exclude sale merchandise so your cashier was simply wrong 🙁

Just went to Target today and could not use the coupon on a clearance bag!
I went back today to try to get another handbag but my cashier would not take it , she said you can’t use it on a clearance item ,I explaine that I was just their yesterday and didn’t have a problem so she asked the supervisor and she also said I couldn’t use it with a clearance item. BOO Target!! I think I’m gonna try tomarrow at a differnt one and see what they say!!

Just wanted to thank you for finding this deal and sharing it with us. I didn’t think our Target would have them but printed two coupons anyway the night before they pulled them. I found the orange dot hobos for $5 and bought two. I thought I would at least pay tax but when the cashier hit total, it was 0.00. She was as stunned as I was. 🙂 These will make great bags to stuff with nice lotion/body gel/body butter for my kids’ teachers. Thanks for all you do for us!!
I was refused. The cashier didn’t even try, but called the manager who said with a wave of her hand that these coupons can’t be used on clearance items.
Boo! Target must have been mad about this one. Seems like you had to get in early on this deal because they were extremely pleasant to me and now it seems people are being treated poorly.
