I wanted to test the Scrubbing Bubbles and it worked perfectly! So here is what I did:
I got 2 of the Mission Tortillas for .99 each with in ad coupon- used (2) .75/1 coupons and paid .24 each
Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer $6.99- used $5/1 coupon- Final Price: $1.99 and I got a $3 catalina back!
2 Kraft Singles $1.99- used $1/1 coupon from Safeway coupon book- so .99 each
Philadelphia Minis $.49- used .55/1 blinkie coupon- Final Price: FREE
2 Kraft 100 Cheese Bites $1.49- used (2) $1/1 coupons- Final price: .49
The total was $5.95- I used (5) $1 catalinas from prior transactions and paid .95. Plus I got a $3 cat back for next time!

Awesome! Sure, we have Dillon’s (Kroger’s) double coupons, but you have so many more store options that do great store deals. Just awesome!

Oh Joanna for sure Safeway just because it is easier. You can do this at Safeway:
buy sprayer at 6.99- used $5/1 coupon = $1.99
buy refill- use FREE refill coupon = 0 (if they let you use it!)
Get $1 cat for refill and $3 cat for sprayer= $2 profit
Here was the Target deal:
Buy 1 Scrubbing Bubbles at $2.49
Buy Power Sprayer at $7.99
Buy 1 Power Sprayer Refill at $3.94
Use .75/1 coupons
Use $5/1 Power Sprayer coupon from 4/11 SS
Use Free refill when you buy sprayer coupon
Use $5 gift card coupon
Final Price: $4.73 and get a $5 gift card back
I am not sure if those prices are still accurate and that deal is more of a hassle- just my opinion 🙂

At my Kroger the Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer is $8.99, I was debating if I should of got it or not and ended up not doing the deal…

I’ve never had any problems using IP coupons @ Safeway but today was different. We have two laptops in our household so I could print a maximum of 4 IPs from coupon.com.
Safeway has a BOGO promo going on with Land of Frost sandwich meat.
So I’ve purchased 4 and used used 4 of my “Land O’Lakes” $1/1 coupon. The cashier had to manually override it when it beeped (no problem) BUT the clerk from the self check-out lane approached the cashier and told him that they could only accept “one” IP coupon per transaction.
Is this a ymmv scenario? She showed me a copy of their coupon policy but it’s different from the one on their website. I actually don’t see any restriction as far as how many IPs you could use as long as it scans.
I’m so confused, please help 🙂

1 power sprayer at $6.99
1 power sprayer refill at $3.50
one box of Wheat Thins $2.50 (kids love them)
used $5 off sprayer
and free refill wyb sprayer coupon
paid 4.49 plus tax but did not receive the catalinas you mentioned. Maybe because I got the refill free?
I did get a $1 cat for some organic snacks.
Can’t complain. I got a deal on Scrubbing Bubbles!
I don’t know Claire. I am hearing from a lot of people that Safeway is telling them 1 like IP but like you said it is not the official coupon policy. When I called today they told me no I can’t have a copy of the coupon policy. Seriously- they said no! So I emailed the VP of Public Affairs or whatever and she sent me a note back that was essentially a brush off. So I am supposed to call her but I am waiting to not be quite so irritated when I call- probably tomorrow.
Anyway, if that is what your store says I guess you will just have to modify your transactions. Next time try using 2 coupons only and see if they say the same thing- if so I guess you have to abide by what they say. I used 2 of the same twice in my transaction tonight and didn’t hear a word about it so I just think with Safeway you have to be ready for them to change the rules of the game with every transaction.
Felicia I believe the $3 cat is running there as well so you would pay .99. If you want to test it you can just buy it at $8.99- see if the cat prints. If it does go to customer service and say you forgot to give a $5 coupon. If it doesn’t just return it for a refund.
The $3 cat is running at my Weis store in PA. But their price is $8.79 and I only had a $3 coupon. Where is the $5 coupon coming from?

Hmm. I would call catalina company or send them an email and ask about it. You should have received $3 from the sprayer and $1 for the refill. The coupons have nothing to do with it. Just click on the catalina link to get the contact info. You will need your receipt.
last week I got an awsome deal! I went to Safeway to do the crubbing bubbles and the cheese. Until Sunday there was an overlapping catalina deal, in addition to the cats for the sprayer and refill, you also got a 4 cat for getting 4 items. Here’s what I did.
got 3 sprayers – (3) $5 coups = 5.97
1 refill – $1 coup = 2.50
5 cream cheese singles – (5) 55 cent coupons = -30 cent
5 kraft bacon cheddar marked half off (then 5 also came off and made them .75!) used (5) $1 off = -1.25
used safeway doubles for -$2
so far total is 4.92, used 4 cat from another trans, paid .92 and get $14 cat back(3+3+3+1+4). But here’s the real kicker. The cashier rang up the doubles strange. Most just ring in 50 cent coupon 4 times. This guy wrang -50 and then scanned the scrubbing bubbles, so on the reciept it showed ” scrubbing bubbles -0.50″. His made the computer think I bought 3 more sprayers and another refill and printed an extra 10 in catalina, so a total of $24! I told him there was extra and he told me was just lucky… Great deal!

my stores will also only allow one internet coupon of any kind, like they won’t let me use 2 mission tortilla coupons if I buy 2 packs of tortillas 🙁

They also had the Oscar Mayer Lunchable’s Sub Sandwiches for $0.99 (overstock) I bought 5 and Received (5) $1.00 Catalinas!!

My store told me today that they will not accept more than 2 coupons for the same item. I think it had more to do with the cashier who rang me up. I think she is a little higher up than the cashiers and probably makes some of the rules.
I did the windex deal – buy 3 or more at 1.99 and wanted to get the 2 cats and so bought 4. I had 2 IPs and 2 MQs each for a dollar. She said she could not take more than 2 similar coupons. I said ok and then she told me the total was 2.28.
I had also bought 2 healthy choice frozen meals and it looks like I had 2 2$eQs come off. So I guess I can’t complain after all.
Her’s my transaction:
4 windex at 1.99 minus 2 1$ Q
1 mission tortilla at .99 – one .75 Q doubles so free
2 healthy choice 1.99 each – 1 IP 1$ off 2 and 2 2$ off eQ
1 deli hot salsa – 1.49
Total 2.28 and got back 2 2$ cats. Somehow I also got back 4$ catalina – it says south beach living. I am not sure how I got that, but today’s run was pure profit, even though she did not take 2 of my coupons.
At my Safeway in Colorado there were coupons above the tortilla shelves. They are Mission manis $1.50 off any two Mission products. I combined that with the in-ad coupon and got 4 packs of tortillas for $1.
