You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right HERE. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!
NOTE: In ad coupons can be stacked at most stores with manufacturer coupons. They do require a minimum $10 pre coupon purchase!

The ad does show an Olay product but I don’t know what (if any) are actually included in the sale. If they do have Olay items included, there are rebates HERE and HERE and HERE that can make for very good deals! I will update once I have more information!
Let us know what great scenarios you come up with!ย If you have any issues with your cat printing and you are certain you spent $25 after all coupons AND that you purchased items that had specially marked tags- you can either address it at customer service in your store or follow the instructions HERE.
Charlene says
There should not be a zip code required. Providing you have created an account and you are logging in under your account you should see them. If not, I would send an email to P&G and ask for help.
Chantel says
You can go online and see participating products. Olay body wash and bars are included. But facial moisturizers/cleansers and olay quench are not included. ๐
Charlene says
I did go online that is how I got the entire list of products. I still want to see what else is available in stores as there are usually many, many products not featured online. The $12 magazine rebate will still apply on any Olay. So spend $30 pre coupon on body wash or soap, use a few coupons to get your price to $25- submit the $12 rebate and get a $10 catalina. $30 in products for $3 + tax.
Karen says
I was disappointed, I went in on sunday night, they were out of it and giving out some crappy looking one from the ranchers reserve. ugh.
Michael says
Last week I got zinged by a checker at Safeway who refused to accept more than one copy of a coupon. I had the correct number of items to use two coupons, but she said policy was to accept only a single copy of any given coupon – printed from the Internet or clipped from the paper. I contacted Safeway corporate and their email reply only dealt with IPCs, not clipped ones (they didn’t even address the clipped ones!). Stated policy was that they only take one copy of a printable. Has anyone else run into this problem with clipped (NOT PRINTED!) coupons? I’ve been shopping at this location for some time and this is the first checker to turn down any coupon I’ve used, printed or otherwise. I just wanna know before I plan my next trip.
Alicja says
Michael, it seems there’s some of “those” checkers everywhere – who just love turning down coupons for whatever reason. I have some at my local Vons who will turn down ANYTHING that doesn’t scan properly, even Vons store coupons! Their own coupons! I have come to the conclusion that some people ar just jealous to see how much we save and they try to stomp us down to make themselves feel better about their $100 grocery shopping trips!
Mona says
I shop at Vons/Pavillions (same company as Safeway), only once have I had a checker tell me that they could not take more than 3 of the same coupons. (I had 5 of something, with 5 coupons). I just saved them for the next time. I also had a checker tell me they cannot take more than 1 FREE item coupon per transaction. Most of the time I don’t have an issue.
Christy says
Del Monte Orchard Select jar fruit is BOGO, and if you got the BOGO coupon in the Vocal Point mailer you can get two free! I think the coupon expires tomorrow so hurry and use it. The Del Monte jars are in the produce section.
Kari C says
OH MY GOD … I just openned my boxes of Quaker Oatmeal True Delights and they ALL have coupons inside for $.75 off another box of oatmeal!!!! Which means FREE 5 MORE BOXES FOR ME. My Safeway doubles $.99 and under!!! WOOT WOOT!!! Check your boxes people ๐
teresa says
So is it possible that some of the items in the ad are not those that qualify? I went to my local store and neither the Charmin nor Bounty had tags for the “buy $25 get $10 back” promo. I am in northern California, could it just be that store ?
Charlene says
Yes it totally is. Your store may just be pokey in getting all the tags up. I am going to check these when I go today and I will let you know.
laura says
I had a problem with the cat printing. I am not sure if it was because I purchased both batteries and febreze (they are pictured but did not had a tag for the promo) or becaue of the $25 after Q. The cashier said it was probably because of the $25 after Q’s, she was nice enough to let me do a seperate transaction for the remaining amount and took the $10 off of my #3rd trans.
Charlene says
Laura- did you purchase $25 after coupons or before? I am almost certain this is going to be after every single coupon.
laura says
My total was before coupons, around $27, after all coupons scanned the total was $20.45. I used all the coupons you noted above. I left feeling a little disappointed, I dont think I got the best deal. I would have went directly to customer service but I had to pick my son up from school. Do you think I would be able to make a return tomorrow?
1st Trans:
1 Gain Fabric Softner
1 Tide
1 Dawn
1 Bounce Dryer Sheets
1 Febreze Air Effect
1 Duracell
2nd Trans
1 Gain Fabric Softner
1 Dawn Dish Soap = $8.11 after coupon
Charlene says
Laura- I am thinking for $28 it isn’t that great ๐ I’m sorry I would lie to you but I’d probably return it all too. I mean the Febreze is .50 after coupons, you can get Snuggle for .99 with the $3 coupon, Tide is likely $5 if you need that brand- otherwise it is usually 2-3x the price of All or the others… So if it is a massive pain I don’t think you got a terrible deal but if you want to go back for something anyway I would just tell them you misunderstood the promotion and to give you a refund. Plus the batteries are a good deal at Staples soon and the dish soap is free at CVS if you have the Home Made Simple books….
laura says
Thanks Charlene, I think I will take it back tomorrow, Safeway is only about 7 minutes away:) I just got so frazzled when I was in the store I didnt know what to do.
Laura says
I was wondering about the $10 back when u spend 25 is it a cataline like it prints up 10 off your next trans or how does it work?
Charlene says
Laura it prints out and you can use it on anything on your next transaction. It will have the normal exclusions of alcohol and lottery tickets and such.
Jane says
Charlene, have you been able to confirm if the spend $25, get $10 is PRE or POST coupons?
Charlene says
I heard from one person only and I am nearly positive. She didn’t get her cat by spending $20 after coupons. Overall I can’t figure out any way to make this promo work. It stinks ๐
Charlene says
Ok I retract my prior remarks due to the fact that a rep from catalina just finally returned my call. I am going to drag my tail to Safeway as soon as the hubs gets home and I will have my results posted tonight!
Nanell says

Jill says
