Just wanted to let you know I called the stores around me to make sure they were participating and they wanted me to make an appointment. They want to do some sort of skin care consultation, not just a quick trade-in like the Fekkai shampoo was back in the Fall. I was planning on checking this out but think I’ll pass now… 1 mom trying to entertain 2 toddlers while someone consults me on my skin doesn’t seem like it would end well, haha!

Oh I’m so glad you posted this! I too, called the store near me to be sure they were doing it (they are!) and she mentioned wanting to ‘set an appt’ but she said it’s basically to help choose the right one of the two to give you – so it really shouldn’t be a big or long process if you don’t want it to be. Hope that encourages you to go anyway Jill!!! Just tell them you don’t have the time (point to the kids!) & that you just want to trade in!
    Good luck! ๐Ÿ™‚

Ladies I have done this before and they always want to give you tea and do a consultation and such but if you just tell them you are short on time they will speed up the process. It is actually a little nice I think I got a hand massage too. I am sure they will have a lot of takers on this offer so they will probably be just as eager to keep things moving as you will be to get out of the store. ๐Ÿ™‚

Please remember that if you can, bring in an empty bottle. It is for recycling and will be emptied anyway. It kind of defeats the point if they have to empty the product for you. It’s a waste of time and product.

Thanks for the reminder. I called my local store today and the lady said that we don’t need to bring in a cleanser, just any skincare product. They also recycle cosmetics so make sure to clean out your makeup kits ๐Ÿ™‚

I just called and yes they wanted me to make an appointment and they also asked me what current Origins cleanser that I will be bringing in. I told them that I received a e-mail from my friend and no where does it state that it has to be an Origins cleanser to bring in for the trade- any brand. So she said that she would “make an exception for me but no one else” Ummm seems kinda shady. So, I’m looking for the posting on the Origins website to bring in to Helen tomorrow.

Chrystal this was actually on the Origins Facebook page and then I got an email last night because I am on the mailing list. If you print this out on the Facebook page here it doesn’t say anything about your current Origins cleanser:
