GREAT Deal on Paper Shipped!

hammermillThere is a Fantastic deal on paper right now through Staples.ย  There are a few steps to get the deal but in the end you will pay $8 for 20 reams of Hammer Mill paper.

1. You need to use the catalog quick order HERE.

2. Enter (2) of the following SKU: 122374-QJ

3. Your total is $49.98 and you need a small filler to hit $50 for free shipping. I found Staples packs of pens for .99- item # 441883.

4. Now your total is $50.97. Click on add/edit coupon right underneath the total and enter: 47617.

5. That should bring your total down to $40+ tax. Submit your order.

6. Submit the rebate HERE for $16 per case for a total of $32 back. (The limit is 2 on this rebate). You will get the rebate in the form of a prepaid Visa card that can be used at most retailers. I actually used a Staples Visa card to purchase the paper!
*I clicked on submit rebate on my confirmation email and submitted for the rebate in about 10 seconds online. It should automatically credit (2) $16 rebates but you should get another email confirmation that your rebate is coming and you can double check on that.

So your net total is going to be $8 for 20 reams of paper which is pretty darn spectacular. You can also try Ebates for 2% back or Shop at Home for 3% back- however they might not honor the cash back since a coupon code was used!

I don’t know if this deal will last all week or not so you might want to order soon!ย  I just did and I can’t wait to get my paper!

EDITED:ย  I neglected to mention you should also sign up for Staples Rewards before you place your order, if you haven’t already. If you already placed your order just register and then call them and they can make the adjustment for you. You get 10% back in store credit for all ink, paper and toner orders so it just makes this deal that much better!

Don’t forget the money back for Staple Reward members. Reward members also get free shipping I think without a minimum purchase.

Yippee!! Thanks so much! I also used my staples rewards for part of it – love when I turn store rewards into a prepaid card that goes anywhere!! Great tip Charlene….as always, you’re the best! Hope you had a great weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚

Did you submit the rebate twice for the two cases, or just as it prompted you? We are going to have one very happy Kindergarten teacher…thanks!

It said it will calculate one automatically for each one you buy so I think it should be OK. Would be nice if the thing said $32 though.

Ugh and I just bought 60 lbs of paper through Office Depot’s deal last week! It was an awesome deal, less than $50 for 3 X 20 lb boxes plus a free mini car fridge….but not near as good as this deal. ๐Ÿ™ Oh well.

Awesome deal, I can’t wait to donate this to the school. My only question was I didn’t see any where where it showed both rebates. I know it says that is will apply to both, but I didn’t even see it on the confirmation that I was getting 2 rebates. Did anyone see anything. Thanks for the awesome deal. Love your site.

  7. Charlene says

    04/18/2010 at 10:34 PM

Yes Tina I saw- it said at the start if you buy more than 1 item it will apply to both. You can certainly email or call Staples though just to double check.

Thanks for a great deal? Do you happen to know how soon we get the rebate card?

Thanks for the great deal! At the end of the transaction it offered the option of requesting a check instead of the prepaid card, which I did. Hope that works!

I have a question and this probably won’t be answered till the morning…it’s 2 am now. But the very last rebate says for 2 boxes of the paper and…I’m just gonna copy/paste it here:

HammerMill Copy Plus Copy Paper 8.5 x 11 Case
Rebate reward: $38.99 Rebate Visa Prepaid Card
Learn more about the Rebate Visa Prepaid Card
    Purchase dates: 02-14-2010 through 02-20-2010
Postmark date: Purchase Date Plus 60 Days
Promotion: Get a $38.99 Visa (R) Prepaid Card on the purchase of TWO HammerMill Copy Plus Copy Paper Case (SKU 122374) at Staples Stores ONLY (card is issued by MetaBank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.)
    Rebate Offer
    Number: 10-18823

Couldn’t we just use ONE of this rebate?

I’m confused isn’t that a different offer from February?

Rose, this rebate expired in February

GREAT DEAL! I was able to roll my Staples Rewards that I got from the Free Battery Deal a few months ago too!

  14. Tarin says

    04/19/2010 at 6:58 AM

I paid $42. with ship to store and it also said I’m to get a $38.99 visa prepaid card. That’s only $3 for it all!!!.

are the purchaes dates still valid?? Above is posted until 2-20-10??

  16. Tarin says

    04/19/2010 at 7:52 AM

I just realized the date for rebate states 2-14-2010 through 2-20-10. Wonder if they will honour it. i doubt it. oh well

  17. Charlene says

    04/19/2010 at 8:34 AM

What rebate states 2/14-2/20? The deal as I posted is correct. If you follow the link on your confirmation email you will submit the rebate and the Staples system will recognize you purchased two from your order number and will process both rebates. I have called them to confirm this and spoke with two different people.

If you are still confused or unsure I would encourage you to do a few things

#1 Look at the sales flyer for this week which I linked to and clearly states 2 rebates available
#2 Call Staples and give them your order number just to double check your rebate status or call and place your order directly with an associate
#3 Just pass on this deal

  18. Farrah says

    04/19/2010 at 8:44 AM

Rose: That’s not the right rebate info…..there is a different one out, and it will work for this deal.

  19. Sheila C says

    04/19/2010 at 9:09 AM

I also chose to get my rebate in the form of a check. I can’t imagine that they would offer you the option for a check and not honor it. Thanks for the deals Charlene!!

I did this deal and my mom is buying a case for $10, so I will be up $2 before tax on my order ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. Tarin says

    04/19/2010 at 9:33 AM

Ok When it went to easy rebate I had to put in a rebate offer number. I used the one rose had. Can someone tell me the correct one?

  22. Tarin says

    04/19/2010 at 9:42 AM

Nevermind I’m an idiot. That’s what happens when you get up at 5am. I followed your link and found it. I also sent them an email stating that I had erred in my posting of rebates. Hopefully i didn’t screw it up too badly and I still get my rebate
    lol

  23. Karla says

    04/19/2010 at 9:59 AM

Thanks, Charlene. I owe hubby some paper for all the Qs I’ve been printing.

  24. Rose says

    04/19/2010 at 10:14 AM

I’m so sorry for the confusion. I guess I was tired last night when I did this and didn’t notice the dates. Sorry again.

  25. Rose says

    04/19/2010 at 3:02 PM

Since I’m feeling so dense today, I have another question. I ordered the paper, but do I wait for an email to submit the rebates or just click on them on the website?

Once again, I apologize if I confused anyone. You can delete my earlier posts if you want to avoid confusion.
