CVS Sunscreen Moneymaker!

04/25/2010

cvs sunblock

There are a lot of great deals this weekend and I am sure I will find more when I head out to go shopping.

Here is one to look for if you are headed to CVS:

They have CVS Brand Sunscreen on sale this week- Buy 2 get $5 ECB

Reportedly the small 2oz sunscreen is producing the ECB!  You might be able to find these with the sunscreen or in the trial size areas or maybe by the cash registers.  They are priced between $1.99-2.19- so buy 2 and get a $5 ECB!  If you still have your $1 CVS Skin Care coupons be sure to use those for an even better deal!

*Now this is an unadvertised deal so I can’t say how long it will last.  If your ECBs do not print I would just return the items or you can scan them at the coupon scanner and it should tell you if the ECB will print!

Thanks Living Rich with Coupons!

EDITED:

sunscreen

I tried it and it worked perfectly!  The small sunscreen on the left was $2.19 and I got a baby stick at $3.99- total was $6.69 and I got $5 ECB back.

They also had large spray sunscreen for $4.99- so if you just want to get sunscreen and not worry about the profit you can also buy 1 of those and one of the small ones at $2.19 and basically pay $2.19 for both.  Excellent deal!

How do the coupon scanners tell you if the ECB will print?

worked like a charm – thank you.

Thanks so much for this Charlene!! I just got 2 of the 30 SPF for $2.19 each – so a $.62 MM!!!

I did this today in Auburn and it worked! I tried scanning it but it didn’t indicate that an ECB would print, so I tried it anyway and that beautiful ECB for $5 was at the end of my receipt! I also used the CVS coupon from a while ago…thanks Charlene!

I just did this without a problem. I bought a small sunscreen for 2.19 and a stick face sunscreen for 3.49 (my kids really like these). so paid $6.08 and got a $5 ECB back! Great deal! I also did the Nivea deal! What a score!

FYI – this deal did work for me tonight in NH, but I did scan one and it did not tell me of the ECB deal…so, just want to make sure people don’t rely on that. I just figured I would return them if it didn’t work…but it worked like a charm! :D

This is great, since I’m putting together mother’s day baskets for my mom and my sister who has a 10 year old who loves the sun!

Yes this works, just did it at cvs. They only had one of the small bottles for $2.29 left, so I got one of those and one of the spray on sun screen that was $4.99. My $5 ecb printed with no problems! Thanks Charlene!!!

Thanks for letting us know it still works even if you scan them and it doesn’t say ecbs. I was too chicken to try it!

Where do you find the small $2.19 trial size bottle? I checked trial size aisle and suntan aisle and there was not a place for them.

Cindy they were on the sunscreen shelf for me. I also saw a separate display in the seasonal areas with sunscreen- like where you would have seen Easter baskets displayed. Then you can check by the registers or in the trial section.

This worked great for me. I also recieved a $3 off of dove chocolate from the scanner, I was able to pick up a package for free since they are 2/6. Bought 2 gallons of milk with my ecb. In total I spent $4.95 and was able to get:

2 sunscreen
1 bag of candy
2 gallons of milk

The spc 15 bottles are 1.99, I bought two and got a 5 ECB!
