CVS Freebies with $1 Coupon

CVS wipes

If you have scanned your card at CVS recently you may have received a coupon for $1 off any CVS paper product and a $1 off any skincare item.

I have been to CVS twice in the past week and got both coupons each time.  Now there are numerous items that are free or very cheap and the definition of “paper product” and “skincare” is going to depend on your cashier.  The single rolls of TP are 2/$1 this week- so those are free after coupon.  You can also get the single rolls of paper towels for $.29 after coupon or tissue for .29 after coupon.

There are a number of items in the travel section that would also be free- small lotions etc…  I got a HUGE babywash for .99 last week after coupon.  I have also been buying the 42 count babywipes for .48 after coupon (pictured above).  I used the skin care coupon to get the small hand sanitizer for .19 after coupon.

So those are awesome coupons and just take a look around your store to see what you can find!  Let us know what you come up with!

Which coupon did you use for the wipes?

thanks for the info! i hardly ever use the coupons i get from the scanner, because they really are very vague most of the time. i got these same two coupons but had no idea what would qualify as a paper product or skincare product. did the coupons go straight through for you with the wipes and the sanitizer or did the cashier have to qualify them first? i’ve just been too nervous that i would pick the wrong thing and end up embarrassing myself.

Are the babywipes considered a “paper’ item? Please let me know because I am planning a trip there today. Thanks Charlene!

You know, I went to CVS last night to buy a 99 cent card with my $1.00 ECB. The clerk refused to ring it up and demanded that I buy something else. I told her that this has worked before, and she can feel free to ring it up as a 99 cent coupon. But she said she wasn’t going to do it and risk getting fired. I ended up taking back my ECB back and not getting the card since I really didn’t need anything else at the moment.

    Has this happened to you?

It depends. I thought it was either a paper or skin care for sure. I just asked at 2 different stores and they said yes. I thought “paper” meant TP so I figured wipes were close enough.

Thanks for the ideas. I was wandering around CVS looking for a paper and skin care item today.

SO excited… just walked away with six free TP rolls after using three of the $1 off paper coupons. I was only expecting one coupon per one roll, but happy day 🙂 I’m not a fan of 1-ply but I am a fan of FREE! 🙂 I’ll be scouring the shelves for skin and hair coupon ideas soon…

I have gotten these twice, too. Thought about pitching them! I am glad I didn’t, though! I used the paper today for a box of tissues. I am a teacher and always need them in my classroom! The small one was $1.29, so only $.29 for the box!

Good news everyone,…I used the $1 off skincare item CVS printable coupon on the Dove Shampoo/Conditioner that was free after ECB this week. That, in addition to the $2 off Dove Shampoo or Conditioner that was a printable a while back made the Dove Conditioner I bought a $3 money maker. 🙂 Too bad it’s a limit of one. LOL

I bought a stick of pure cocoa butter for $0.99 and used the skincare coupon. Hooray!

I got two travel packs of cvs tissue for my paper product (2/.99) and travel sanitized wipes (.99) and travel sized lotion (.99) with my coupons. The cashier was giving me a hard time about the skin care items. I told her that I thought the coupons were very vague & asked her opinion what a skin care item was if those two weren’t included. She couldn’t give me an answer & pushed the coupon through.

Wow, Jessica, that was a great idea on the skincare coupon.

I got a skincare coupon and the paper one. The paper towels are actually on sale in NorCal at my store for 0.99. I found CVS box of 5 instant hand sanitizing wipes in the travel section for 0.99 also. I like having those things in the car.

I keep forgetting about the cocoa butter! I will get some with my next coupon.

I have been getting the $.99 baby wipes (purple package in the travel section). I get two, and use both coupons. It is a paper product, and to be used for skin, so it works for both coupons. Great for keeping in the car. I haven’t seen the toddler wipes (flushable – YAY!), but I will be on the lookout. Thanks!

Also, the 2/$.99 tissues work for the paper product!

The toilet paper is ringing up 1 for $1.15 but 2 for $1 at my CVS! But 2, don’t buy 1!

Used the paper product coupon on CVS brand pantyliners today. Might work on pads as well? My 99cent box = free!

my cashier was friendly and took $4/$20 purchase coupon off of a $11 purchase and i used a $5 ecb and paid $2 for a $10 muffin tin that i needed and a small toy

I just used my coupons. Used the skin care on CVS wipes (.49 after coupon) and used paper on CVS cotton balls (free after coupon). I had no problems with cashier! Thanks for the ideas!
