CVS logoHere is the CVS for beginners recommendation for the week thanks to $30 Weekly Grocery Challenge.

We have two transactions once again.  All you need to do is either purchase one item and then get back in line and purchase the second.  Or simply ask your cashier to ring you up separately.  The idea is to roll your ECBs so you spend the least amount possible out of pocket.

Buy 1 Dove Shampoo or Conditioner $4.49
Use $1.50/1 coupon from 3/28 RedPlum inserts
Pay: $2.99 and Get back $4.49 ECBs
Final Cost: Free + $1.50 profit
*(if you have the $2/1 printable from a little while back this deal is even better)

Transaction #2

Buy 1 Dial Nutriskin Body Wash $5.49, Get $4.50 ECBs
Use $1/1 printable
Use $4.49 ECBs from Transaction #1
Pay: Zero and Get back $4.50 ECBs!

So in summary- you will have spent $2.99 on the first transaction and you will only spend a few cents tax on the second plus you have a $4.50 ECB for next time!  That makes for 2 free products this week plus a $1.50 profit!

*IMPORTANT NOTE:  You will always want to double check your local ad as some deals are not available in all areas.  For example, the California ad does tend to have differences from the rest of the country!

You can read all about CVS right HERE and be sure to visit the coupon scanner at your store to see if you get lucky!

This is exactly what I did yesterday, worked great. I also bought 2 gallons of milk with the 4.49 ecb’s I got from the dial . (that was the whole purpose behind my trip)!!

Pre MFA I would have just made a trip for Raley’s for milk. Thanks for all your hard work;)

Am I missing something? The Dove coupons in my 3/28 RP are for $2.50/2 shampoo and conditioner and $1.50/1 Daily Treatment Conditioner.

Sorry, I read your whole list of sales for CVS this week and saw that you meant the Daily Treatment Conditioner.

I bought the 14 oz haagen-dazs ice cream but the ECB didn’t print. What should i do?

Check your local ad and if it is posted in your ad than just call CVS customer Service. In the future you can always check the ad or the signs in your store before you leave and return the product if there is an issue.

I found $1.50/1 peelies on the Dove Shampoos and Conditioners at my store. Free is good, but Moneymakers are better!

quick question, can I use an ECB and a coupon on ONE product? I know at wags that isn’t allowed.

You sure can Rebekah- you can add in a 3rd CVS coupon if you have one as well. Much easier than Register Rewards.
