Whole Foods Trip!

019
I am so excited that the free Kashi deal I told you about HERE actually worked for me today!  The Kashi hot cereal is priced at $2.50.  I used (3) $1.50/1 coupons that I got in the mail from Vocalpoint.  You can also print the coupons out HERE.  Then I used (3) $1/1 any Kashi Heart to Heart item from the Whole Foods March/April coupon book.

So all 3 boxes were free!  Then I spent $1.99 on a loaf of bread- so my grand total was $1.99.

***REMEMBER you need to do some leg work if you want to try this deal.  This was advertised in my area but every store has different pricing/sales- so just call ahead and ask for the price on the Heart to Heart hot cereal.  Also some stores will allow you to stack coupons and some will not- so be sure to ask that as well!

I was wondering if you had to make three different transactions when doing this? Or did you just put them all together and hand them all six coupons? Also, I’m from Chico…did you go to Safeway to do this?

Jaime I went to Whole Foods not Safeway. I did it at once but using that many coupons at Whole Foods is my max. I always seem to have problems there- not with staff but the registers not taking coupons- so I only use a few at a time. This time one of the coupons only credited for .12 not $1.50 so the cashier just adjusted it for me. My store is incredibly pleasant.

Although I am sure that Kashi has some good stuff, most of the samples of stuff from Kashi isn’t worth eating, so I don’t even try any of it any more. You know, once bitten, twice shy. ;)

Really? I like Kashi but I guess it is definitely not to everyone’s taste. We already tried the hot cereal and I thought it was yummy.

I much prefer shredded wheat or Cheerios. Also Steel cut oats and Cream od Wheat for hot cereals, but as you say, it’s just a matter of taste.
