Here is the Walgreens for Beginners idea for this week. This is just an OK week at Walgreens but there are a few good moneymakers so it is a perfect time to get started with Register Rewards. Be sure to check HERE to get all the info you need to understand the Walgreens program.
I have a few ideas to roll Register Rewards this week. The best case it to do separate transactions to minimize your out of pocket expense. I tend to try and checkout at the beauty counter and I always ask if I can do more than one transaction. This is just a guide to show how you can roll Register Rewards- you certainly don’t have to do all these transactions.
Transaction #1:
Buy Dove Hair Care at $4.00
Use $1.50/1 from 3/21 RP
Final Price: $2.50 and get a $4 register reward back
Transaction #2:
Buy 1 Walgreens MultiVitamin at $3
Buy 1 Dentek Floss at $2
Use $1/1 Dentek coupon from 1/17 SS
Use $4 Register Reward from your first transaction
Final Price:Nothing! and get a $2 Register Reward plus a $3 Register Reward back!
Transaction #3:
Buy 1 Simply Saline Mist at $7
Use $1/1 from 1/24 SS
Use $2 Register Reward from above
Use $3 Register Reward from above
*Since you are using those (2) Register Rewards you will need 2 fillers. Anything inexpensive in the store that you can use is perfect. One idea is (2) Easter Tumblers for .13 each with in ad coupon
Final Price: $1.26 and get $7 Register Reward back!
If you don’t want to worry about that Register Reward, I would buy a large Olay Quench lotion at $9.99 (projected price).
Use the $1/1 from 3/7 P&G
You need a filler since you want to use that Register Reward! The tumblers are .13 with in ad coupon.
Use $7 Register Reward
Final Price: $2.12 then submit rebate HERE for $9.99 back from Olay!
So this week here is what you got:
1. Dove Conditioner
2. Multivitamins
3. Floss
4. 3 Easter Tumblers
5. Large Olay Lotion
6. Simply Saline Mist
You spent a grand total of $5.88+ tax and you will get $9.99 back from Olay for a profit of $4!
