Reader Sheila let me know she found towels in the $1 Spot area at Target for $2.50. She used the $2 off coupon HERE and scored them for just .50!
Dollar Spot items do vary considerably so you might not find the same deal but it is worth looking for if you plan a trip to Target! These are awesome to keep in the car for those little emergencies. (Like spilled milk, wet dogs or dirty diaper changing!)
**Brea pointed out the coupon is for Beach Towels so make sure those are the ones you grab!
I would specify this is on beach towels and not regular towels.

BTW, I received a Target mobile coupon, good for Dove chocolate, Nabisco crackers, Pizza Hut Express, California Pizza Kitchen, and Shout (it took me a little bit to figure out how to use it).
Target did have towels in the dollar section for $2.50. When I used the coupon with my purchase, it said item not found. The cashier honored the coupon but the system didn’t recognize a match.
1 for me too, that stinks!!
I did not find these at my store in Clackamas, Oregon. Bummer!
The tag on the towel even said beach towel and the coupon still didn’t match up.
I went to Target today and used the $1.50 off a pillow coupon. They have pillows as low as $2.89 at my store so it comes out to $1.39 after the coupon. They are nice extra pillows or can be used if you like using two since they are thin.
They didn’t have the towels at my Bonney Lake, WA store either.

I got the deal for the towel, they had pink & blue, i got pink. Keeping it in my car.
Just came from Target in SoCal. I went in to get the ZhuZhu Pets Nintendo DS games for my girls (used my $5 gift card too, from the Sobe). Anyway, at our Dollar Spot they have 2 hand towels @ $2.50, not beach towels. I was in a rush, so didn’t try it, but will pick them up later. Still a good deal!
