I just came back from TRU and the deal is just a bit sweeter than we thought! This week if you buy $15 worth of Strawberry Shortcake products, you get a free doll (it’s the middle/smallest one in the above picture). So if you buy 4 dolls (at least one being the one i mentioned) you’ll get 2 free. I ended up buying 8 dolls and getting 3 free and being able to use my $5 off coupon. I think I might have been able to add a 9th and get it free, but by that time i was ready to go home. I could also have done 2 transactions of 4 each, getting 2 free and not using the coupon, but it came out just a few cents more that way. So for $24.07 I got 8 different dolls, just under $3 a doll!
At my Toys R Us there were double sets of the mini dolls that were $5.99 (same price as the single doll). These came with a Strawberry Shortcake and one of her friends like Blueberry Muffin. It worked the same way, buy two sets of the double dolls and get one free. Also you could mix and match sets or dolls. And they had the spend $15 in Strawberry Shortcake and get the clear plastic purse with mini doll free.
At my store, they had a promo double pack of dolls(2 dolls for 5.99, they only had 2 left), and the Free doll purse with $15 purchase. So I got 9 dolls total.
