I got an email from Starbucks regarding a new promotion that starts this week. If I am reading this correctly it looks like this:
:: Buy a tall cup or larger of the new bold flavors of Starbucks coffee each week for the next 8 weeks. (The flavors change weekly)
:: Ask the barista for a sticker (and you will need a passport the first time to collect your stickers)
:: Once you collect a sticker from each of the 8 weeks of coffee specials, you get a free pound of coffee!
You only have until March 14th to collect a passport and try the first flavor!

I used to work at Starbucks, so I can give the math for everyone.
A tall cup of coffee is $1.50 before tax in your area, so you will be spending $12 before tax over the next 2 months, and then receive a 1 lb. bag of beans (those cost between $9.95 and $15.95.) If you have an 8-cup coffeemaker, that free bag will get you about 5 pots of coffee.
Not a great deal unless you already have a fairly consistent Starbucks habit — but if you do, you should definitely participate!
I’ve gone to my local Starbucks 3 times this week and they still don’t have the Yukon blend. I don’t know how you’re suppose to know whether or not they are going to brew it, I guess calling before you go. Let’s just hope they pick up. ^_^
