Here is one more awesome deal from Safeway- Gold Medal 5lb bags of flour are on sale for $1.69 this week.

Use the .75/1 coupon HERE and get them for as low as .19 or for those of us with no doubles .94.

That is an AWESOME deal and probably the lowest price you will see.  (My stock up price is usually $1.49).

Thanks Carla and Shannon!

See the rest of this week’s deals right HERE.

Update: Reader Debbie let me know that her Kroger store has these priced at $1.49!  So just .74 after coupon!

Safeway has doublers? I haven’t heard this, can you tell me what you know

Some areas have them. I believe most are .50 or less coupons and a few areas are up to .99 or $1 I am not sure. Texas, some parts of the NW and the East Coast have doubles. In fact I was under the impression that Nor CA might be one of the only areas that don’t have them. Anyway, maybe some readers can tell us if their area doubles and how much it is for.

I just came back from Kroger in northern Alabama. The Gold Medal flour is on sale for $1.49, with coupon they are only 74 cents! 🙂

I live in SoCal and shop Vons/Pavillions (same as Safeway in NoCal). They are currently “doubling” coupons 50 cents or less, so $1 off when you use a 50 cent coupon. I don’t see it advertised, but that is what has been happening for the past few months.

Maybe I just got terribly lucky, but I bought 4 bags of Gold Medal flour at Target yesterday on clearance. It was marked down to .62 each, so I got all four for free using 4 of these coupons! Might be worth a shot to look in your Target’s clearance section.

Shayla you got super lucky! I bought them on clearance for $1.38 a few weeks ago and they are long gone. Totally worth checking for though!

Just got back from Safeway in Rancho Cordova – paid $3.76 for 20 pounds of flour. LOVE IT!

I also live in so. cali and didn’t even notice that my Vons was doubling up to any amount, but noticed today at the bottom of my reciept they gave me $.25 off my $.75 coupon. I was really pleasantly surprized.

Found Gold Medal Flour at Walmart today – 2/$3.00. Made it $0.75 after the coupon!
