I wanted to highlight three deals in particular at Rite Aid this week. Especially for those of you that haven’t tried the rebate program yet. Rite Aid can be surprisingly easy and the best part is they actually have a nicely written coupon policy.
You can get all the info you need to learn about Rite Aid HERE.
There are three deals that are especially good. Since you don’t have to worry about ECBs or Register Rewards you can buy everything in one transaction. There are $5/20 Rite Aid coupons HERE or $3/15 coupons HERE– so it might be better to split your transactions up to use more of those coupons.
These scenarios do require multiple copies of the newspaper from today 3/7. This is an excellent day to get one or two extra papers as the coupons are especially good.
Deal #1:
Biore products are priced at 3/$15.
There is a rebate for $5 when you buy 3 items
So here is a deal idea:
Buy 2 Cleansers at $5 each
Buy 2 Pore Strips at $5 each
Use a $5/20 Rite Aid ad perk coupon
Use (2) Free Cleanser when you buy Pore Strips from the 3/7 SS insert
Use $1/1 ad perk coupon
Final Price: Pay $4+ tax and get a $5 rebate back. So you will basically get everything free.
You will want to look at the Biore in your store. If you spot extra coupons stuck on the bottles you can also use those for a better deal.
Deal #2:
John Frieda Hair care is priced at 3/$15
{Deal Idea}
Buy 3 at $15
Use $3/15 Rite Aid coupon
Get a $5 rebate when you buy 3
Use (3) $3/1 coupons from today’s paper
Use $1/1 ad perk coupon
Final Price: Pay $2 and get a $5 rebate check back!
Deal #3:
Cover Girl Makeup is Buy One Get One Free
{Deal Idea}
Buy 2 Cover Girl Face Products at the same price
One will be free
Use the Buy One Get one Free coupon from the 2/7 P&G insert
Final Price: Just pay tax*
*Now this can be a tricky deal as some cashiers will refuse this coupon. It is specifically allowed for in the Rite Aid coupon policy so I would print this out and take it with you just in case.
**You will get a little postcard check in the mail as a rebate from Rite Aid. You can take it to Rite Aid to use or you can cash it at your bank. So you do actually get your money back unlike the other drug stores where you essentially get store credit.
So if you haven’t tried Rite Aid yet give it a whirl and let me know how it goes for you!

I was just wondering if the biore and the John Freida coupons were regional, because I didn’t receive either of them in the two different papers I purchased. Thanks for all the couponing help you give everyone.
Charlene says
That stinks! Basically all coupons are regional because there are tons of variations from week to week. You got cheated 🙁

I went to Rite Aid today for the first time in ages. I got two Cover Girl make up items (12.99 each) for free. Thanks for your blog and for helping me save so much!
April says
This is a silly question, but where can you pick up extra Sunday papers? How much is your subscription/how many do you get each Sunday?
Charlene says
You buy them at a store. They are $1.50 in my area- some areas less and some more. I get 3 papers delivered on Sunday for a grand total of $60 a year.
Jamie says
Just a heads-up, there were $2/2 sticker coupons on the biore at my store which would make the deal even better!
Nicole Jones says
So the $5 rebates on the biore and John Frieda our strictly rite aid rebates right? I’m having trouble getting into rite aid website to figure all of this out!
Joann says
I notice that you onl list one $1/1 ad perk per transaction. Can you use one for each item you buy or only one per transaction?
Charlene says
It used to be one per item but if you have the same ad perk coupon they ask that one be used per transaction. You can use multiple ad perk in a transaction if they are for different items.
Charlene says
Correct. Rite Aid’d program is a rebate one unlike the other stores that offer store credit via Register Rewards or ECBs.
Janet says
So on the Cover Girl makeup, the coupon says face product. Does that mean anything? eye, lip or face.. i mean its all face. Any thoughts?
Charlene says
No that means concealer, foundation, blush or powder. It specifies face so that is excluding eyes and lips.
Shannon says
Thanks!! I just got (around) $140 worth of makeup for like 6.00. They were all free. yay!!!!! 🙂

Just wanted to let everyone know I scored big time @ Rite Aid this week! I did 3 transactions and got 3 Pampers jumbos, 4 Covergirl, 4 Biore, 4 John Frieda, 1 Crest, 4 Starburst, 2 Skittles for $6.20 (plus tax) after coupons and SCR!! I saved just over $90. Thanks so much for the time you put into your blog as it really makes it much easier to get deals like this!
Joann says
Oh my goodness!!! Today was the first day I have ever tried deals at Rite Aid…. I am hooked! I bought 4 cover girl makeups totaling $42 and only paid 1.70 in tax. Then I bought 4 John Freida products, (1 shampoo, 2 conditioners and 1 styler) totaling $28.00 and I only paid 5.50 and I get a $5 rebate. So after rebate, I will have gotten $70 worth of products for $2.20. Now that’s a DEAL!
And to make it even better, my cashier was the BEST! She went on and on about how she loved seeing customers with coupons and how they combine to get the best deals….. you don’t hear that very often. We ended up having a 10 minute conversation about the blogs I read and how to get started in couponing.

Me too!! Loving Rite Aid! I got $168 worth of product before coupons, sales, and the rebates for $17.46 (incl. tax). I had to do a few transactions, but got 3 Pampers, a toothbrush, 2 cover girl make-ups, 4 biores, 3 john friedas, 4 gillette deordorants, 2 gillette body washes, and 4 boxes of kashi heart to heart! even took my first couponing picture!!
I did have to go to a different Rite Aid as the first one wanted to take the $5/$20 (or such coupons) off AFTER my coupons. We argued nicely, but I didn’t want to cause problems or get her in trouble, so just left without doing all my deals. (my husband even pulled up the coupons policy on his phone, but no giving in) Ended up trying another store with no problems!
Thanks for all your help in pulling this together. It just makes my day!
