CVS shampooI went in to CVS tonight and wanted to mention a few extra deals.  The lovely coupon scanner spit out a $1 off any CVS Brand shampoo or conditioner coupon.  I didn’t have my phone with me to snap a pic, but I did find the shampoo and conditioner above for .99 each- so FREE!  It was a full size product and was located on the very bottom shelf in my store- there were 3 fragrances to choose from.

I also got a $2 off $10 baby purchase coupon that I used on the awesome Huggies deal!  I heard from lots of you that got these coupons as well.

Finally, if you have the 3/28 RP- you might see if you scored a $2 off Stayfree coupon.

Don’t forget the deal that runs for just a few more days:

Stayfree Pads $3.89 (UPC: 380040927001)
Buy 1 and get a $2 ECBs (limit 4)
Use $2/1 from 3/28 RP
And Use Buy One Get One Free from 1/3 RP
Final Price: $1.89 and get $4 ECB back!

My CVS in SW MI did not have the Stayfree deal 🙁 They only had Always on sale.

Isn’t the Stayfree an unadvertised sale? Kate may want to check her store again, my store didn’t have signs, but I watched a woman do that deal ahead of me in line.

The scanner gave me a $4 off 2 Stayfree pads/liners the other day… woot!

I got the $1 off a CVS hair care item as well. Used it to get a $.99 very generous trial-size hair gel for free!

Also, a Crest sensitive toothpaste, regularly $4.59, was on clearance for $1.22. Used a $1 off coupon. Sweet!

Grand total for both items was $.39! Plus, I had just transferred a new prescription so had received a $25 gift card. The cashier, with a big smile on his face, said, “Ma’am, with the state of the economy, I encourage you not to spend too much money now!” LOL!

Another good “filler” and a way to use the $1 off CVS haircare item, is in the baby/kids section. The hair spray-in detangler is on sale this week for 2/$4. With the $1 off, you will only pay $1 for the detangling spray, which is normally priced $3.79.

Thank you so much for posting the shampoo deal. I thought that “coupon” was for hairbrushes, etc. and didn’t even think to consider shampoo or similar products. I can’t tell you how many of those I let expire in the last month! I happened to get one yesterday after I read your post and snagged a free shampoo. You have saved me so much money since I started reading your blog. Definitely my favorite site!

The Stayfree deal is not going on anymore at my store in Modesto. I’m guessing it was a March deal. I did however get lucky from the magic coupon machine and get $4 off when you buy 2 and paired with 2 $2 off mc made them free still. Not the moneymaker I was hoping for, but I can’t complain 🙂

Yeah it was a March deal- so you missed it by a day. Free is still good!
