Here is the CVS for Beginners for the week!
You can read all about CVS right HERE and be sure to visit the coupon scanner at your store to see if you get lucky!
There are two great deals this week. I am going to show two scenarios- one for those that need diapers and one for those that do not.
Scenario #1: Pampers!
Buy a Jumbo pack of Pampers for $8.97
Use $2/1 coupon from 3/14 RedPlum insert
Pay: $6.97 and get a $3 ECB back! That is like paying $3.97 per pack!
You can do this transaction up to three times per Extracare card depending on how many coupons you have. You can buy them at once or choose to do three transactions- that way you can use the ECBs from the prior transaction to help pay for the next like this:
Buy 2nd pack of Pampers for $8.97
Use $2/1 coupon from 3/14 RedPlum
Use $3 ECB from your prior purchase
Pay $3.97 and get a $3 ECB Back!
Now a good way to roll your ECBs once you have purchased your diapers is to do another transaction and buy:
Buy a Colgate Total Toothpaste for $3.99 (limit 1)
Use a $1/1 coupon from the 3/7 SmartSource insert
Use your $3 ECB from the Pampers
Final Price: FREE and get a $3.99 ECB back!!
Now here is an idea for those that do not need diapers:
Buy 2 Cover Girl products- either foundation or powder priced at $6 (limit 1)
Use the Buy One Get One Free coupon from the 2/7 Proctor and Gamble insert
Also use the $1/1 coupon from the 3/7 Proctor and Gamble insert
You will pay $5 and you will get a $3 ECB back!
So your net price is $1 per product.
You can also roll the ECBs by doing the Colgate scenario above!
Be sure to come back and let me know how it goes!

Are redplum flyers the same everywhere? Mine comes in the mail and I just pulled out the 3/14 one – there’s nothing about diapers anywhere in there. I find that they mostly have fast food coupons. What am I missing?

The redplum that comes in the mail is different from the Red Plum insert that comes in the Sunday papers and does not have any regular coupons – just the restauarant deals.

I am new so not sure if this is common knowledge for CVS, but I had 2 catalina coupons that printed out at other retailers (Target and Winn Dixie) for $2 off pampers and my CVS accepted both for this deal. They did say manufactures coupon at the top but also had both a winn dixie and target logo. Hope this helps!

When I scanned my CVS card today I got a $2/$10 baby purchase, so this is what I did:
Buy 2 Pampers at $8.97 each = $17.94
Use 2 $2/1 MFR coups = -$4.00
Use $2/$10 baby purchase (from scanner) = -$2.00
Pay $11.94
Receive $6 ECBs
Total = $5.94 or $2.97 each!
I live north of Sacramento…
