CVS logoHere is the CVS for beginners recommendation for the week thanks to $30 Weekly Grocery Challenge.

This week is a great week to stock up on deodorant for men or women. This is also a great item to donate. Below is the scenario-

Spend $15 in select Dove, Degree, Caress and Lever Products and Get $5 ECB’s. (Limit 1)

Buy 6 Dove or Degree Deodorant $2.50 each = $15
Use (3) $3/2 coupons HERE (you will be able to print 3 from 1 computer!)
Pay: $6 and Get Back $5 ECB’s
Final Cost: $1 for 6 deodorants (.16 each!)

You can read all about CVS right HERE and be sure to visit the coupon scanner at your store to see if you get lucky!  A $3/15 CVS coupon would make this a $2 moneymaker!

I am so excited about this deal, except for some of the coupons are not printing. I am stocking up on little things like this for wedding party gifts, for we are getting married in a few weeks. I have been saving free razors, shower gels and other freebies to make bridal party baskets for everyone. I hope these coupons have not ran out already!!

The Dove q’s are for Dove Ultimate Go Fresh and Sensitive which did not appear to be on sale at my CVS today. Has anyone tried buying the Ultimate Go Fresh to know if it is part ofthe sale?

Can you do the Degree instead of Dove? That is also part of the ECB and I see 3 different coupons for $3/2 on Degree products. Did anyone look for those?

Charlene – I tried to print those but it said the campaigs was over. I’m going to check out Vons to see if the Suave is on sale for $1.25 WYB 4. I saw another reader say it was at her store.

I did confirm on the Vons website that the Suave 24 hr deodorant are $1.25 WYB 4 or more. Free! Woohoo!

I did this one today using the degree coupons and it worked, plus I had an old one for degree for women. It looks like the coupons have ran out on that website though.

My local CVS has Aussie and Herbal Essence for 99 cents. There are coupons in todays paper for $1.00 off and $2.00 off two, making them free! I am in California so it maybe different in other places. I had three papers and got 9 items (shampoos/conditions/styling) plus a Zhu Zhu baby for $8.37.

I did this deal yesterday! I bought 6 Degree (for men) and used a $3/1 and (4) $1.25/1. I also bought 2 shoe inserts (thanks to my hisband telling me last minute he needed new ones) on clearance for $2 and $3 each, plus a Cadbury Egg ($0.50). I used a $4/20 that CVS emailed me and $8 in ECB and paid $0.53! That’s the price of the Cadbury Egg and tax!…oh and I got the $5 ECB from Degree for next time!

So I went to CVS today, got 10 deodarants 4 right guard, 4 womens degree, and 2 degree mens, a 4 pack of fusion refills, and a fusion power razor. I paid 12 bucks OOP, which is pretty good considering i only had the 1.25 off mens degree coupons, and only one of the $3 off womens degree and 2 1.25 off degree. The razors refills were priced at 15.49, I went to 2 different cvs to find them for 9.99, but my ad said prices start at 9.99. I was however able to use both the free razor when you buy cartridges and the $4 off razor coupon. Im pretty excited about this because before coupons and ECBs my total would have been 60 with tax!!

Oh I am so glad it worked for you Danielle! You know I have to force myself to pay attention to the totals before coupons and all that on my transactions and it nearly gives me a heart attack to see what some people actually pay for products. Imagine $60!
