Target Run + Clearance!

02/24/2010

target wed
I dragged the girls to Target this morning to check on a few things.  I was very happy to find the bulk area items on clearance for 50% off!

I got Paper Towels 12 rolls for $6.74

and even better Quilted Northern 36 pks were $7.98   (or .22 per roll which is a GREAT price!)- there is also a $1/1 coupon HERE for QN which makes this even better!

I also got Mr Bubble for .77 each after coupon

and Alpo is on sale for .64- use the $1/2 coupon from 2/7 RP and these are .14!  (Thanks Totally Target)

Finally I got 2 more of the Free Gillette body wash In told you about HERE

***You might call your store to see if they have the TP on clearance too!  These deals usually go pretty fast- my store had Scott TP on clearance as well so grab the $1 off HERE just in case.

(PS:  That would be Maya modeling the Alpo)

Do you know why the bulk area has been on clearance?

Tina February 24, 2010 at 2:25 PM

My Rite Aid had the mr. bubble watermelon scent on clearace 50% off so they were $1.49 and used my 1.00 off coupon so ONLY $.49 YAY

Where did you find the bulk items that are now on clearance? I looked today but did not find everything in one section–but instead, divided up by department. They didn’t have any Huggies left :(

Nicole February 24, 2010 at 2:48 PM

Admin:

Was there still more of the Quilted Northern at Fairway? I was thinking of going a little later.
THanks

I can’t wait to get to Target this week! The Alpo on sale is a great donation to the animal shelter!

Rebecca February 24, 2010 at 3:08 PM

I love the Mr. Bubble deal! I got a couple this morning and my son can’t wait until bath time today! :)

Charlene February 24, 2010 at 3:16 PM

There was a pallet of QN and Paper Towels and Scott TP. All in the back corner with seasonal stuff.

Charlene February 24, 2010 at 3:17 PM

My store has it in the seasonal area which is where the bulk items were displayed before. I am sure every store will be a little different depending on size and inventory.

Charlene February 24, 2010 at 3:18 PM

Tina I saw it on clearance at Rite Aid too! A few products actually from the Elmo line.

Charlene February 24, 2010 at 3:18 PM

Yes because it is seasonal. They come up with these ideas and they last a few months or a few weeks and then it is clearanced. We will start seeing patio sets and summertime things that replace it.

Hey Charlene, which Target do you go to?

janaki February 24, 2010 at 3:32 PM

its off target

i went to cvs today and found lots of grocery items 75% off

planterns nuts for $1
morton salt for .22
popcorn for .55

lots and lots so be sure to check the grocery if you go by CVS

Charlene February 24, 2010 at 4:14 PM

Everyone asks me that and it freaks me out that you guys will be waiting for me to yell about a transaction that went wrong or something ;) Plus you’ll all be so disappointed to see me in person with coupons all over the place since I apparently give off the false impression I have it all together.

I go to the Fairway Target usually because I find Douglas to be mean.

Shelley February 24, 2010 at 4:20 PM

Haha. I go to Douglas as it’s on my way home from work and I haven’t been impressed with their coupon/sale customer service. So…was just checking to make sure it wasn’t just me!

Charlene February 24, 2010 at 4:22 PM

Nope. I was just talking to another reader about that store. I always get treated rudely. Especially by the coupon police lady that trolls the check stands looking for couponers to hassle.

Shelley February 24, 2010 at 4:24 PM

I haven’t met coupon-police lady yet, apparently. I’ll be on the lookout!

Stevie February 24, 2010 at 4:26 PM

I was at target last night and their bulk was 30% off.

Brenda February 24, 2010 at 5:51 PM

I am so glad that I am not the only one that has encountered the coupon police lady at the Douglas store. She has been so rude to me several times.

Danielle February 24, 2010 at 5:56 PM

My target run today got me diapers for very cheap! I was one of the lucky few to get 150 count huggies size 4 for 16.98 and pampers 136 count size 5 for 17.98..I stocked up and hopefully will not have to buy diapers again til we are potty trained! Another good find was crest white strips bonus packs on clearance for 11.98, and theres a $7 off coupon from P&G coupons from a few weeks ago!! My store had also marked Mr. Bubbles down to 1.54 which was another great deal!!

laura February 24, 2010 at 6:08 PM

Just came back from Target with a smile:) Along with the great tp deal they had 30ct of Instant Oatmeal (variety pack) for $3.48. I was able to use the $1/1 coupon from your Safeway post.

Charlene February 24, 2010 at 6:32 PM

Did those diapers trigger the gift card this week by chance?

Charlene February 24, 2010 at 6:33 PM

Yup! I wish she didn’t work there because Fairway has the old style scanners so I can never check for gift cards at Fairway.

Elizabeth S. February 25, 2010 at 7:04 AM

Last night I found a 4 pack of Soft Soap body wash in the bulk area on clearance for $3.48, and of course I used a $1 off coup! : )

Danielle February 25, 2010 at 7:29 AM

Unfortunately the diapers didnt trigger the giftcard but these boxes actually have more diapers in them than the ones with gift cards…another good buy i found was an 8 pack of campbell’s soup at hand they were 3.98!!

susan February 25, 2010 at 9:20 AM

Thanks so much for sharing about this Target clearance. I wouldn’t have looked into some of these things on my regular run. I got a 72 pack of Target TP for $5.98 and then I snagged the Pampers box for $17.98. At my store, they were still marked $30.99 but I just decided to scan it and it was the lower price. I was thrilled and I had a coupon too! I also got 90 Target brand gallon size freezer bags for $2.48. What a great savings days!!
