ShopText is a program where you can send a text message out and request a free sample of specific products. Typically the samples are higher in value (say $5-10 per item) and you will have to pay standard text messaging rates.
If you register HERE for Shoptext they will have all your information (much as your mailing address) and the process is much faster. Otherwise you have to send a text message to request the sample and get a text back asking for your mailing address. If you already have an account they will have your address on file.
Usually these promotions are from various magazines and a few sample shoptext freebies I have seen recently have been a free Fusion Razor and cosmetics. It is a fantastic program and is totally free other than the cost to send the text message.

The one thing I’d love to know is do they send you junk mail periodically after that since they’ll have your cell number. I’d love to take advantage of this, but not at the risk of getting future junk mail in my phone. I don’t have unlimited texting (shutter the thought!).
