Can you use the $10 catalina to get a $10 gift card? I don’t shop at SaveMart very often and don’t want it to expire but really need some dog food. It says you can’t roll it to purchase add’l P&G items otherwise I would roll it to get even more dog food. I don’t know what the rule is for catalina’s and Gift Cards. Thanks!

Yes it sure is! All the Lucky stores closed down around here.
I am not 100% sure since I don’t shop at Savemart often either. I know that 99.9% of the time you can’t. One thing you can try is to do your dog food transaction. Then do a second transaction with a few things- like maybe the potatoes or whatever and get a book of stamps. That might work. The last cat I got from Safeway did not exclude stamps but I have found they refuse them if that is all you are buying.
I have been told at our Savemart that they are not accepting any internet coupons! I’ve used them with no problem in the past. The manager said they would have to send in my coupons and then if they aren’t fraudulent, I would be ok’d to use them. I mentioned the point being that I need the coupons for the current ad to get the deals. He said they would then reimburse me! What a pain… they said they are having a problem with internet coupon fraud. Is anyone else having this problem?
Just wanted to let you know that the Pillsbury catalina is also going at SaveMart!!!
I did the 2 bags of Iams and then used the $10 cat from that to get 6 cans of Pillsbury items (they only had the crescents and biscuits that were on sale) 2 bags of potatoes (they were not Green Giant though but still $.97) and a country crock spread, I then got a couple of beans to bring it up to $10. Used the P&G cat to pay and paid $.44 OOP. Then a $4 Pillsbury cat printed!! I imagine those Pillsbury items will sell out fast so might want to go get yours fast!
