safeway frozen foodYeah!  Frozen Food Month is back!!  This happened last year and it was crazy good so start making room in those freezers!!  The promotion runs 2/28-3/30.

Here is the deal- Spend $25 in participating frozen foods and get a $10 catalina back.  The $25 is BEFORE coupons so this can work out to be a REALLY good deal.

Plus you can take your prior catalina and use it to pay for your next transaction!  So I am going to be putting together some ideas later today to get the ball rolling.

In the meantime I would make sure you get any coupons printed HERE for thinks like Uncrustables, Yoplait Smoothies, Frozen Entrees, Frozen Veggies and all get all those ecoupons saved from HERE and HERE!

If you have already come up with great ideas leave them in the comments!  I’d love to hear your deals too!

There are a few good frozen coupons in the Make it Tonight Safeway coupon book but they expire today.

Hi Charlene, I read your RSS feed all the time. Your the only one who does this wonderful coupon/deal thing in our state! At least that I know of, thank you!! My daughter works for Safeway and she reminds me of the deals when the ad’s come in or she sees a lot of people jumping on the sales. I don’t quite understand how to get groceries free but I think I save a good percentage off my totals now that I read your feed and cut coupons too. My daughters employee discount in limited to safeway products but helps a little. Thank you so much for all you do. Donna in Silicon Valley

Where can I find this ad. I did not see it on Safeway’s website and I want to know exactly what is included.

You can get it in three places:

    1. Your Sunday newspaper
    2. Inside your store
    3. Online right here- when I put in my zip I can see both ads. If you do not see an extra ad than your area might not have one:

The $10 catalina that came out for me was only good on a frozen food purchase, which was not what I was expecting. I looked at the ad again and didn’t see it mention that anywhere. But, I did find some Contessa on the Stove meals (that are good toward that $25 purchase) on sale for $5.99 that had a $2 off peelie on the front. I haven’t tried them before but figure it’s always good to have a few things in the freezer for last minute lunch/dinner.
