Swagbucks Bonus Code + Birthday Bash!

02/25/2010

Share

swagbucks oneSwagbucks is celebrating its second birthday today and they are offering lots of bonus bucks today via the blog HERE, twitter HERE and Facebook HERE.

I will let you know of any codes that I can find- remember you can not share the actual code just where it can be found (or you will lose your Swagbucks account!)

There will also be lots of new changes coming to the Swagbucks page that should benefit users.  One MAJOR change that you will see tomorrow is that they will be changing the increments of Swagbucks by ten.  The value is exactly the same but if you have 45 Swagbucks it will change to 450.  Likewise the value of the cards will go up- so a $5 Amazon gift card is no longer 45 Swagbucks but will change to 450 bucks.

If you are new to this you can read all about it HERE. Basically you just register and you can start earning free gift cards for retailers such as Target and Amazon.  No strings attached!

If you have not yet registered now is an excellent time, you can register HERE and use code: SWAGADVENTURE to get 60 bucks added to your account!  Whoo hoo!

List of Free Item Coupons Available

02/25/2010

coupon pile

When I first started couponing I learned that you can actually call or email a variety of companies and request coupons from them!  More often than not, they will send you coupons.

I used to call a handful of companies a day and sometimes I would get $10 or so in free product coupons and sometimes just .25 off one item.  One of my favorites to call is Huggies- you can call them about every 6 months and they will usually send you $3 off coupons.  I once got a $5 off coupon from them.  I would just look for items we really liked that I already had on hand and I would call the phone number on the back.  You can also just look up companies online and send them emails.

See the list by clicking below- many of these are Organic and pretty expensive items.  If you decide to try emailing let us know how it goes!

You can have a look at what to expect from the Smart Source right HERE.

The highlights to me are the Schick Quattro for Women with $4 offf and the Sure for Men Deodorant for $1.50 off.  Those are priced at $1.50 all the time at Walgreens- so free after coupon.

Target: T-Shirts for $1.91

02/24/2010

005

I was going through my reader last night when I saw a very clever idea over on Living Rich with Coupons.

Apparently Rachael Ray had a segment on the perfect white t for women and claimed the Hanes Tagless T Shirt (for MEN!) was it!  So Cindy found 6 packs of Hanes t-shirts in the men’s department of Target for $9.54- making them just $1.66 each!  Plus her packs had a free Right Guard deodorant.

Well you better bet I was headed to Target to check this out today!  I always need new t-shirts since being a mommy is a very messy job most days.

I only found the 5 packs at my store but they were also priced at $9.54- so $1.91 per shirt!  I wanted to give it a test drive before reporting back.  I have to say these are pretty comfortable.  They are a little boxier (ahem.. more forgiving) than ladies shirts are typically.  They are also a tiny bit thin so you want to be careful what you have on underneath.  Otherwise I think these are perfect for under sweaters/cardigans or with workout clothes.

Even better at $1.91 you don’t have to feel bad about tossing them once they start to show signs of wear.  I bought size medium and I think I should have gotten a small.   If you happen to come across the packages with the Right Guard attached they apparently have $1 off Hanes coupons inside!
