I have told you about Hotprints in the past, basically they offer free photo books.  It is totally free (no shipping) and the catch is that they have advertisers that put ads on some of the pages.  Apparently there are no ads on any pages that actually have photos so it seems like a pretty good deal to me.

You can get one free book per month per household.  If anyone has already ordered books let us know what you thought!

In the meantime, they sent a press release this morning indicating that they have new themes available plus new full page photo choices.

You can order your book right over HERE.  This is nice because you can take your time and make what you want.  You have all of February to get it done and then go back in March for another one!

The books are actually pretty nice and the good thing about it is it’s free!

I got one book from them and I liked it. At the time, you could use your friends’ photos as well, but they’ve stopped that. Now you can only use your own. The one thing I didn’t like was that you had no way of knowing if photo resolution was too low until you actually got the book, but I hear that part of their updates is showing a warning about that.

It’s not the high quality photo book you can get at one of the big name photo sites, but it’s pretty good and for a freebie, it’s fantastic.

I just got mine yesterday. I only used photos from my facebook account. The book looks great! My only complaint (and really how can you complain when it’s FREE) is that the “comments” (about each photo) that I had under my facebook photos were printed in the wrong places in the book …even printed actually on the photos themselves. Kind of weird. The print was very light so you could still see the photos. Not sure if this would have happened if I didn’t use facebook pictures. I am still very happy with my free book. I plan to do it again. If I had paid for it, I may be a little upset, though.
