I went to Babies R Us today to use my $5 egift card. I am always so careful with my money that it was really fun to just buy things without thinking of coupons or where the best deal is.

So I got the Kandoo wipes tub for $2.99- this was the least expensive Kandoo item and now I can send it for the free book HERE.

I also got teething biscuits for Maya for $2.29.ย  My grand total was .53 after the gift certificate and then for the price of a stamp I will also get a children’s book!

I’d love to hear what you guys spent your gift certificates on!

I LOVED going to Babies R Us! Both my husband and I had the $5, so I bought 2 cute clearance outfits for our 21 month old (I could have just gotten one for free, but opted for 2 which meant I spent $4 out of pocket). My husband also spent some out of pocket (about $5), but he got a video game on clearance for the kids for Valentines Day (normally priced $50!) What fun to get such great deals!!

I went tonight too. Thank you so much for helping me stretch my dollar this way!!!!! I got my daughter a little Crayon set I’ve had my eye on. It was $1.35 after the giftcard (and tax). YAY!!!! That was way too much fun! I wish BRU had more great freebies like this!

No worries Dina. I have mommy ADD and usually miss the fine print so it is good to always check up on me ๐Ÿ˜‰

We went to TRU today. I got a Zhu Zhu pet for my daughter. $10 minus the gift card, so only $5 and she was so happy!

It was a lot of fun to go to Toys R Us and pick out something for $5 for my son. I picked out some finger paint for the bathtub for 4.89. He got to use it for the first time today and had a blast! Thanks for posting such a fun deal!

I havent gone yet, but i am planning on stacking the TRU coupon from this sunday’s newspaper insert for laundry detergent and a Seventh Generation detergent coupon. I am thinking this will be fairly close to free after coupons and the e-cert…. I love getting GREEN things cheaply! Living greener doesnt HAVE to be more expensive ๐Ÿ™‚

My husband and I each got one and we used them on Method baby diaper cream, since it doesn’t stain our cloth diapers. Thanks for posting about the deal! You saved us about ten bucks!

Sesame Street books were 25 percent off when we visited tonight – we chose a super cute story treasury that was $10.99. Minus the sale and gift card it was around $3.83. What a deal for a huge, colorful, quality book! Thanks for the head’s up!

My husband also signed up for one and never got the gift certificate. My Best friend has the same problem, hers never came either. Was there a limit on how many could get the gift certificate?

I don’t know! What a bummer maybe you can ask that on the Facebook page?
