Drugstore Round Up

I had a comment this week asking if I would still do CVS deals.  It occured to me that since I usually post drugstore deals early some of you might have missed them.

I am attempting to get on a regular schedule for the deals and here is when you can expect to see them:

CVS: Early Friday- this week is posted HERE

WALGREENS: Friday Afternoon- this week is posted HERE

RITE AID: Saturday Morning- this week is posted HERE

I like to get them up a little earlier so that you have time to get your coupons sorted out and plan your trips.  Remember you can click on the print this feature under every post and have the entire list sent right to your printer!

Im new to the drugstore deals and I was kind of lost today in cvs. I scanned my card and got a $5 off $15 but wasn’t sure if I could use that with my manufactured coupons. Before coupons my total was $15 and some change. Should I have used my $5 off $15 coupon before using my manu. coupons ?? HELP!!!

Yes. It is simple really. Say you have $15 in merchandise and a $5/15 coupon. Well coupons are a form of payment. So if you use coupons and get down to $6 as your total you can’t use a $5/15 because now your total is $6.

So you always, always, always use those store coupons first no matter where you are shopping. You can use the $$ off store coupon, a manufacturer coupon and even a CVS coupon for a specific item.

So say you bought 2 packs of Pampers for $10 each. You have $20 as your total- give that $5/15- so now it is $15. If you happen to have (2) CVS coupons for Pampers and 2 manufacturer couposn for Pampers you can use a grand total of 5 coupons on those two packs of diapers. PLUS since you are at CVS any U Promise coupons will also work!

OMG Duh!! Thank You soo much . Im going back tomarrow since my 3 year old was throwing a tantrum I lost my focus in there , but I know what I want now . Plus I got $2 extra bucks back for buying the colgate max fresh toothpaste . And I would of had a better deal using the coupon in the insert but I think it got lost when I was all frazzled. Thanks again.

I hear ya mama. Snacks in the purse is the only way to go. I look like a crazy lady with granola bars and Cheerios falling out all over but it works for 2 minutes of peace.

Ok, I am not trying to boss you around but if there is any chance you can get the Rite Aid up early, it is greatly appreciated. The ad runs Thursday to Thursday here in CA so the deals are already starting a few days before the rest of the world. Thank you!

Ok I will try. I have to say I hate Rite Aid so I always save it for last 🙂 Such a pain to go through all the coupons and rebates bah! But good to know- I didn’t realize it started early.
