Additional Target Deals

quaker expressIt was looking like a slow week but there are a few extra deals at Target that look pretty good!

The Quaker deal I told you about HERE– buy 5 products and get a $5 gift card reportedly includes the Express Oatmeal!  These single cups are priced at $1.02- so without coupons you will pay $5.10 and get a $5 gift card back!

This might be a moneymaker with coupons- the coupons I found exclude trial size or specifically say box of instant oatmeal.  Let us know if you find any coupons that will work!

EDITED:  This appears to only work on the Maple and Brown Sugar flavor!

Also there was a Satin Care shaving cream coupon in the 2/7 P&G- some areas got .55/1 and some got $1/1.  If you got the $1/1, then the trial size shaving cream is priced at .97- so free after coupon! (Thanks Spectacular Savings!)

There are coupons inside the boxes of Oatmeal that were on sale at Safeway several weeks ago. Each box has a coupon that says “Save 75 cents of any one package of Quaker Instant Oatmeal.” THe fine print says limit one coupon per specified items – only good on product sizes and varieties limited, but it doesn’t exclued single serving. I might try it today and report back with what happens. Thanks!

I’ve got 2 oatmeal coupons that I printed from the internet. I think it was from their create your day website thing. Not sure… but it says $1 off ANY instant, quick, or old fashion oats. No size indicated. 🙂

I went to my local Target last night and found the Listerine Smart Rinse in double packs for about$4.50. (can’t remember if it was $4.44 or $4.49?) Already a great deal at about $2.25 a bottle, but if you buy 3 packs you get a $5.00 target gift card. So now it is about $8.50 for 6 bottles. Then, I found a printable coupon at this link-

If you have more than one computer and can get three coupons, then after Gift Card you are paying about $5.50 for 6 bottles of Smart Rinse. My kids like this stuff… I’m going to get some today

At my Target, they actually had a sign in front of the single packs that advertised the $1.02 price AND the buy 5, get $5 gift card together!

I tried the Quaker express cups today and they would not take my coupons despite it not being specified that it had to be a box. Then the gift card didn’t work and the cashier said to me that there was no gift card bcause the price was only $1.02. Duh, thats why I bought them. People who don’t “coupon” can be so clueless! I took the cups straight to customer service to get my money back and they had an attitude because they can’t return food items to inventory. Oh well. I did get a catalina Target coupon for 3 Johnson’s baby products $3 off which I will pair with the Johnson’s $3 off 3 for really cheap baby lotion so the trip wasn’t a complete waste.

I bought them this morning and it worked. I had coupons stated on any instant oatmeal, $1/MC. It is only for Maple Brown Sugar. I walked out paying a nickel for 5 cups of instant oatmeal and my gift card. The cashier was amazed and wow!!Be sure to bring your bag. I ordered more coupons online as well. Hope to get in time, because I ran to 3 stores to get these.

I had to try two Targets, first one was sold out, but at the second the price tag with the $5 gift card was only on the maple and brown sugar flavor of single serve cups. I scanned the other flavors and they did not say $5 gift card, so I just bought the maple and brown sugar. Worked fine. I got my $5 gift card.

I bought 2 boxes of oatmeal and 3 cups of the oatmeal and the gift card wouldn’t come up. The cashier said it has been happening if you don’t buy all the same type of Quaker product. He acted like it was a glitch and said he can’t give me the %5 gift card but he could just take $5 off my bill! That was super. My Target is the best!!!

Had a little trouble at my Target. The gift card did not come up and they said it had to be the ones displayed in the ad. I very politely held my ground and told them they had specific signage stating sale 1.12 buy 5 get $5 gift card. I offered to show him the signs. He went back to check and gave me the $5. Said he had to see it in order to give me the $5 since in the end I was only paying .60 cents. He didn’t know I used a $1 coupon and it was a .40 money maker.

Heather I did it last night with the Golden Brown Sugar (I think) variety and I got the gift card. What flavor did you buy?

At the Target I shop at, it was for the Cinnamon Raisin flavor only.
