There are quite a few Vera Bradley items on clearance right now on Amazon. I know some of you were disappointed to miss the sale yesterday- so you might have a look around HERE and see if you find a great deal.
I checked on a few items that were through a 3rd party seller- it looks like you do need to spend $25 for free shipping even if you have Prime.
