Target & Walmart Clearance Update

target logoWell I have mentioned the annual Target clearance a few times already and here is the latest news!  Toys should have been marked down in many stores to 75% off yesterday.  I went over to check my store and boo! they were still at 50% off.  BUT then I read on Bargain Jargon just now that many stores are now at 75% off as of today!  Coincidentally my Hasbro/Playskool coupons all expire today!

So I just called my local store and they confirmed that many items were marked down to 75% off. Whoo hoo!

So you might call your store and ask as well- this is a great time to stock up for birthdays and even for next Christmas.

Also I have heard from many of you that Walmart has some great deals as well!  My Walmart did not have anything at all but I have received a ton of emails indicating you guys are scoring great deals!  So that might be worth checking out as well.

I spent $500 at Target the last 2 day on the 75% off toy clearance. Love when my local stores clearance on different days, was able to be at each store by 8:15 both days and had the dept. to myself for at least 20 minutes before others started to show up. At Walmart I have scored some great stuff too, the best was the D-Rex Interactive Pet that ToysRUs has for $150, I got it at Walmart for $30! Kicking myself for not grabbing 2.

I must have hit the target sale right when they marked everything down! I got tons of stuff! The fureal pets that were around $45 this christmas I got them for $8 each! I am fully stocked for bday parties this year and I spent around $75 for at least $500 worth of stuff.

Yay! As I was springing through Target today (my DD was melting down and I was running out of snacks:) I spyed a wooden kitchen similar to the Pottery Barn Kids ones that I LOVE – 75% off. So $32 instead of $129. I am putting it away for her 3rd birthday – something we never would have been able to afford before. So excited!

I was so excited about this. I found my son the Spike the Dinosaur, that was $129 all season long, for $32. I am putting it away for my son for his birthday in March!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I called my Target after I read this and they were marking down the toys right then. So I raced over there and got $215 worth of toys for $30, but really only $.46 OOP after giftcards. Woohoo!!!

I headed over to target tonight…totally forgot my coupons were going to expire. I bought The My Little Pony Castle for only 11.24…normally 45.00. I also got the kids cranium game free…whoo hoo. It was marked down for 4.76 and I had a 5.00 coupon off. So excited. I probably bought 70.00 worth of toys for only 23.00. I am going back tomarrow or until the other toys I wanted get marked down to 75%.They would not honor all the toys at 75%. Some were still 50%.So I will wait and hope they are still there when I get there.

I was able to get a BUNCH of great deals! I spent about 90 for $400 worth of stuff after coupon- better than great! That included a $100 kitchen that I got for just $24 (Step2 brand), which I’ve always wanted to get for our kids but could never warrant spending that much! Our gift closet is also once again full 🙂

I scored 4 boxes of Corn Chex cereal for .83 each at our local Target store this morning. I had (2) $1.00/2 coupons which made the cereal .33 each. What an awesome deal!!!
