Heidi In general I don’t buy things I don’t want or won’t use. Even an item that is .10 is expensive if it goes in the trash. I bought 4 boxes of Special K granola and we will most definitely eat it- in fact almost one box is already gone. My little girl and I have been eating the granola with yogurt all week long for breakfast. The cereal bars I am not a huge fan of but I like those for the car and they are great to toss in my purse so they come in handy.

I spend .25-.50 per box of cereal and we go through a lot of it. So even if it takes 8 weeks to eat the boxes I bought at Target that is just fine with me, I got it for my buy price and the shelf life is almost a year. There is not a brand of generic out there that is priced at .25-.50 plus I prefer higher quality products. Occasionally I will buy items I don’t necessarily need and 4x a year I drop a huge donation off at the women’s shelter. So even if our family doesn’t use or eat something there is someone else out there that will be very happy to have it.

Do you really eat those special K bars, or are you just buying them because they are on sale? I would personally rather just buy the regular priced generic cereal or oatmeal for the same price rather than buying something I wouldn’t normally buy. Just a question.

Baby Einstein DVDs are $10/each this week. Some of them have a $10/off when you buy 2 peelie. Then I found another one that said $5/off this DVD when you buy it now. So, 2 Baby Einstein DVDs for 5.00! Great deal if you can find the same peelies!

You know I have heard that from a bunch of people but my store had them full price. I think there is an older version actually- I am not sure but it seems like they look a little different now.

Did you happen to notice if the fiber versions of the kelloggs bars were included in the sale. We love that kind and it would be great if they were included.

Oh I almost forgot… i got some Christmas PJ’s at 90% off the last day before they donate them to Goodwill. They still have other holiday PJ’s that are 30%/50% off. Just got to keep watching them as the bring in more spring stuff.

At the Target in Maryland the Playskool sit & spin was marked down to $10.98, so with the $10 coupon you could get it for $.98 cents. That toy is usally $20. I had already used my coupon. I was really bummed, but hopefully some others are getting some great toys for next to nothing. I wished that coupons.com still had those playskool coupons. They expire on the 15th, so just a couple more days.

I found toddler girls shoes marked down from $14 to $3.24. Also, I found 8th Generation Soy milk marked down to $1.45 with $1 peelies on them; they were regularly $3… I picked up all they had at my store… we go through milk like crazy and it does not expire until late February!!! So excited for nearly free milk!!!!!

I just tried the Kashi cereal for the first time the other day, and now I am kicking myself for not using the $1.50/1 coupons I had before they expired 12/31. I’m near those Target stores, too!

I bought a few of those Lean Cuisines for $.88 (with $1/1 CPN) as well. I thought it was a heck of a deal until I walked into Kroger this evening and saw theirs are now $1.78. I know it’s only a difference of $.10 each but it still bugged me! Lol.

Jasmine the Fairway store had a ton of dresses for $8.98 and I think there were bigger sizes. The Douglas Store had them at 75% off and there were only a few- I don’t think they had bigger ones because I looked for a 3T and could only get 2T. These are gorgeous little dresses so $9 is still a heck of a deal.
