Here is most of this week’s shopping.  I went to Safeway, CVS and Walmart and spent pretty close to $40.  I am still planning a quick trip to Costco to get milk and cheese and salad mix.  There is no protein because we have a lot of ground beef in the freezer and I haven’t seen a sale on chicken in awhile.  Hopefully I can stock up soon!

CVS:  $3.16

I bought the rocking horse for $7.50 on clearance
Nivea Body Wash $5.99
Nivea Lip Balm $2.99
Nivea Lip Balm $2.99
Used BOGO Nivea coupon
Used $4/20 CVS coupon
Used $2/1 Nivea printable
I also used my $2 quarterly reward ECB and $6 in ECBs. I got $5 in ECB back. See this week’s CVS deals HERE.

Walmart: $27.81
I only used $9.95 in coupons and got almost everything pictured. I will have a new list of deals posted tomorrow for Walmart but one note- I bought the Snuggle for $1.87 each.  There were coupons in the 12/6 RP for $2 off any Snuggle- these expire 1/10 so make sure you don’t forget to use them!
1 lb Carrots $1.28

In my original post I said that Safeway won’t accept IPs for more than half the product’s value. So yes if you have a snippy store they will likely refuse it. It was a pain for me to use mine- so I’d just pay the .12 and go to Walmart.

My little girl always screams for those stupid horseys when we go to the drugstores. She has been on that thing nonstop today.

Chicken is on sale at Save Mart for $1.77 lb and I got some at Winco for $1.78 yesterday. I am in Roseville and went to the Rocklin Winco. The Save Mart sale on chicken is posted in its circular. Hope that helps getting some chickenn in the freezer for you 🙂

Hah…I’m so happy that horsey found a good home. We returned it on Saturday to CVS because my little one received two of them for her birthday. I kept thinking…someone is going to get a killer deal on it because it will be clearance now.

FYI..I talked with the manager at CVS when we returned it and he told me they have about 20 pallets of old Longs Drugs merchandise that they will be clearancing and putting out onto the floor over the next few weeks. Should make for some great deals!

Oh my gosh are you kidding? What a small world! You returned it to the one on Roseville Pkwy? I never shop there but I had to go to Walmart and it was right there. My toddler LOVES her horsey- so yes it went to a good home!
