Looks like the $1/2 coupons from Pilsbury’s promo website have been lowered to $.30 or $.40 off 2 now.

Still a good deal after the cat but not as exciting. LOL

No it does not require a minimum purchase but the Safeway coupons do. If you click on the catalina link you should get the answers to any other questions.

Can you tell when I get my $4 catalina for this Safeway/Pillsbury deal, does the catalina require a minimum purchase? (i.e. I get Albertson $4 catalina’s all the time but they require a $40 minimum purchase and its $40 after all coupons etc.) Thank you!

Just get your receipt and call the catalina company- every single cat offer I post I hear from people who didn’t get them. It might have been a problem at your store.

THanks for all your hard work on this blog.

I went to my safeway today and the checker was awesome. I bought 6 big cans of the Grands biscuits on sale for $1.99. total 11.94(Had 2, $.30 off e-coupons) used $1/2 IP coupons (x3), Used 3 safeway $1/2 coupons, then the check took off another $2 (for the double he said even thought I didn’t give him one). Paid $3.34 got $4 catalina.
Transaction 2: bought 6 cresents at $1.69 each total $10.14 (had $1 and $.50 e-coupons) used $1/2 IP and $1/2 safeway (again checker applied $2 for doubles), paid $.64 got $4 catalina.

So for both transactions total was $3.98 OOP got $8 catalina. So $4.02 overage with catalina.

It is me, I didn’t see where you said use the one’s from the Safeway coupon book, so I read it like you were using 6 coupons, but the coupons were on two items….now it makes sense….thanks!!

Toni- I will add that in to the post. I guess it seems natural to me that you would not want to do this transaction alone but you are right others may not understand that.

I was in my store yesterday, and ALL of the crescents had those safeway orange price reduction tags on them. The tags were for .75 off! There was a .75 AND a .50 off tag on some of the cookie doughs and some of them had peelies on top of that. It may be just my store, but I’d check just in case. Cookie dough can be thrown in the freezer.

I dont think the math is correct or the coupon count. we will only be able to use one $1/2, so we can only use three total of those coupons.

I’m pretty sure if you read the fine print of the coupon from the Safeway coupon book, it states you must have a minimum $20 purchase- so unless you’re buying other items, I don’t think you could apply it to such a low-cost order, but it’s worth a try I guess…
