I just saved $103.18 at the grocery store! I paid $38.38 for $141.56 worth of groceries! How cool is that?! This is how I did it!!!! I first went to Target. They had Huggies wipes, 184 pks, for $5.49. I had several Target coupons for $1 off, and manufacturer coupons for $.75 off.I stacked the MFR with the Target c…oupons, I used 3 of each coupon making each pack of wipes $3.74! I also had several $2.50 coupons off of Electrasol Finish Tabs. I use the liquid, so I asked if I could subsitute the liquid and she said yes. So I bought 2 Electrasol and paid $.69 each for them. They were reg price $3.19. I spent $12.85 and saved $11.50.Oh, and by the way, Electrasol Finish Tabs and Gelpacs are CLEARANCE at Target for $3.64 right now! Then I went to Walgreens. They had Reach toothbrushes for $.99 each with their coupon, so I used 2. I had several BOGO (Buy one get one free), so I got 6 toothbrushes for $3. I also bought 2 Coffeemate hazelnut liquid creamers, they were BOGO. I had a $1.50 off coupon of 2. So I paid $.99 for 2 creamers. Then I went to Safeway. I used alot of coupons! They have a new coupon book, called Make it Tonite. You can find them in the store or at the register. It has 3 pages of coupons in the back! I got 5 books. I bought 5 Philly Cream Cheeses, at $1.99 each, totalling $9.95,used 5 $.75 off, which made it $6.20, then and got $5.00 back in catalinas at the end. So, I paid $1.20 for 5! Then there was a rice a roni deal, 10 for $10. I had several $1 off 3, and the Make it tonite coupon book has a coupon for $3 off 10. So, I paid $4 for 10 boxes of rice a roni! I also got a coupon in the mail for free pasta sauce, (I got Artichoke and Pesto Sauce!), free pasta, free taco shells, and $2 off 8 oz Lucerne Cheese, which had a $.30 off coupon, so I paid $.70 for 8 oz block of cheddar cheese! Cereal is on sale until tomorrow. You can buy 4 boxes of LIFE, CAPTAIN CRUNCH OR FRUIT GUSHERS for $4! They are $2.00 each but if you buy 4 you get $4 off at the register. There are several coupons out there for fruit gushers, making them damn near free!!!!! So, I had alot more deals………but you get the jest of it. Yay for me!!!!! I LOVE SAVING MONEY!!!!! They where not on sale at my safeway store. They had no signs up and when I pointed it out in the ad they told me I could only get the 2 varieties pictured. They even called another store and they said they where not on sale either. Then the catalina didn’t print. My betty crocker catalina didn’t print either. So I guess I will be calling the catalina company about it tomarrow.

I didn’t want 5 things of cream cheese so I used the $1/1 kraft shredded cheese coupon and they let me use the $1/2 kraft coupon from coupon.com. So I got 3 cream cheeses and 2 bags of shredded cheese for less than $7.00 and with the $5.00 catalina it was like paying $2.00. Very Cool. Thank you MyFrugalAdventures.

Oops I think I read that wrong Denise and I am sorry! The cream cheese is not a coupon but the Safeway coupon book does say minimum $20 purchase. So that is pre coupon totals and just be sure to give the Safeway coupons first. Here is one little trick that I use every so often- I buy a gift card for Safeway to get me over the minimum. That way I am not buying anything I don’t need.

Nope! It was in the ad no coupons or anything needed just buy 5! Also I read the coupons twice and it says one per item not one per transaction so shouldn’t be a problem!

Did you need to purchase more items for the minimum of $20 or just the cream cheese? I am about to do this, but I was going to add items to get up to $20 before sales/coupons. Thanks!
