Here is the menu plan for the week! We are leaving for a blogging conference in Nashville on Wednesday and we will be returning on Sunday. I am excited to go and meet other bloggers and learn all sorts of new tricks to make this site better but not so excited about leaving sunny California! If any of you live in the south don’t tell me how cold it is! I might not get on the plane!
So here is the menu plan for the first half of the week:
MONDAY: Caprese Salad with roasted chicken. I am also playing with my new breadmaker and we will hopefully have fresh french bread.
TUESDAY: Vegetable lasagna with green salad
WEDNESDAY: Spinach Salad with Italian Rice Balls
And I think I am going to try Sandra Lee’s crock pot banana bread.
We will be back to the regular menu planning next week!

I’m curious what kind of bread maker you have and whether you like it or not. My bread maker is ancient and I only use it to make the dough at this point, but I’m looking into getting a replacement in the not-too-distant future.

I just bought the Breadman from Macy’s. My first loaf went into the garbage can and I am trying a second loaf today! I can’t say if I like it yet but I hope I can figure it out as fresh bread is like heaven to me!

I am going to miss Harry 🙁 The saddest thing ever is he performs during the Savvy blogging dinner so I had to choose. This is a work trip so… Bah!
