Thanks for putting this together. I’m wondering if you need to worry about the quantity of items you are purchasing vs. the number of coupons you are using at CVS in the same way you do at Walgreens. In other words, if I’m purchasing 4 items but have 5 coupons, is that a problem at CVS? There are CVS coupons that can be used for the Stacy’s pita chips, in addition to manufacturer coupons, but I wasn’t sure if I could use them unless I purchased extra items. Thanks!

Mary you need to double check the limits on the items in your ad. The ad I looked at had no limits on Pepsi but when I get my specific ad on Sunday there was a limit of 4. So double check on Sunday. Also did you catch the CVS 101? It is at the top of the post and should answer your questions.

There is also $1/1 Stacy’s CVS coupon on CVS website – can be combined with the $1/1 from All You website!!

Tonia that is sketchy. I think the majority of people that tried last time (I posted this with the Lay’s deal last week) did not have success stacking them. I guess it is worth a shot!

Thanks! I did not get to try it yet. I guess you just never know, right?

I was just at my CVS hoping to stock up on pepsi using the ECB deal but they had a limit of 4 12pks so I couldn’t buy enough to get the deal. Also they were out of the Stacy’s Pita Chips so I couldn’t get those either. I left really bummed ๐Ÿ™

Yes in CA they had a limit on them as well. I think I noted that on the post for next week- but the deal is still running so just buy 4 more 12pks next week and you will still get the $10 ECB for spending $20.

I am also in CA. The manager told me that all $20 had to be purchased in a single transaction. I even asked specifically if I could do it in 2 trans and he said that it wouldn’t work to get the ECB.

Usually that is not the case but you can call CVS directly and ask them. The 800 number for customer service can be found at cvs.com.

My store had the Loreal Hair Treaments that are normally about $10 on clearance for $4.50 and then there was a coupon for $2 off earlier this month. Normally I wouldn’t spend even $2.50 for a conditioner, but these are really good deep treatments that are meant to be used about once a week.
I also found a lot of Loreal and Revlon Make-Up on clearance, like you had mentioned, for 75% off. I also had coupons making the items I found (foundation, lipstick, and eye shadow) well under a dollar and some practically free! And to think I used to pay $14 a tube for Mary Kay foundation when I could have been paying .75 for Loreal’s wrinkle reducing foundation.

I also noticed one dozen eggs for .97, no limit, Celestial Tea 2 for $4, which works out to be a good deal with the 1/1 coupon, and Campbell’s Soup 2 for $1.

  12. Laura Williams says

    01/25/2010 at 1:46 PM

I don’t know if it was just in my area (Modesto, CA) but in my printed ad (in the newspaper and the one I picked up in store) there a ton of CVS coupons. Highlights include a $1 off any beverage with a regular price 2.99 or more, $1 off any grocery item with a regular price 2.99 or more, $1 off any oral care item with a regular price 2.99 or more, $1 off any cosmetic item with a regular price 2.99 or more.
Because these were CVS store coupons I was also able to combine them with manufacturer coupons too. It made for some great deals!

    01/25/2010 at 1:48 PM

Yes it is just in CA Laura. I usually note that in my posts- our ad is totally different from the rest of the country and the So CA ad is usually different from Nor CA.

My area (Sac) also had $50 extra in CVS coupons, whoo!

I used the $1 off any skin care product today for the Dove Ultimate Deodorant, plus two $2 off and got them for free! I wasn’t sure if the $1 off would fly, but I decided to ask and the cashier took it.
