Why is this a good deal if you can get 5 $5 Amazon gift certs for 45 points each, equallying 225 points?

admin December 5, 2009 at 1:13 PM

Because you can only order 5 like cards a month. So it is a good deal if you have been holding points for awhile and have a lot saved up. You can order (5) $5 cards ONLY for the entire month which doesn’t get you very far.

Wow, how in the world do you get that many points in one month?

I agree, I think these deals are all pretty ridiculous. They are geared towards professional bloggers who have tons of referrals. It’s worthless for regular people who have to earn their own bucks, we don’t have a prayer of getting that many.

Marie I am sorry you feel that way. I had someone email and tell me they made 58 bucks in one week. I have other readers that save their bucks all year to buy Christmas presents. Yet another reader posted a comment just a few weeks ago that she had 5 bucks and entered the drawing and made 100 bucks. I personally didn’t cash in a single buck for 2 months. Someone else posted a $100 lamp that she bought with Swagbucks. So I don’t think it is fair to say the program is just for bloggers.

I save mine all year just like she said. I bought 5 of the Amazon gift cards this month and the Starbucks gift card yesterday plus I still have some left. I love these sales on the cards as it makes the ones I have go so much farther! I didn’t know I could only get 5 Amazon or I would have cashed them in last month- darn!
