Reader Kerri found a great deal on stamps! If you buy a $5 Alice gift card with your Swagbucks (and these are only 20 bucks- you get 3 bucks just for signing up). Then they sell a book of stamps for $8.80.
So use your gift card and you get them for just $3.80! That is a great deal! Your first order with Alice can be for any amount and you need to have a new account to use the gift card. But shipping is totally free no matter what you order the first time and then free from that point on as long as you have 6 items in your order.
Plus you get $10 store credit for your first $50 spent on Alice! So if you need postage for those free Christmas cards buy 6 at $52.80 and you’ll get a $10 credit for a future purchase! (Plus you skip the post office).
That is a good idea. I wish I had noticed that. I got my 1st Alice shipment last week and I just ran out of stamps today.
When I made my first order with Alice this weekend, they said I had to order a minimum of 6 items.
Once again Charlene, thanks. I wasn’t quite sure what to order from Alice since they’re prices are higher than would I get in my shopping trip. So, when I saw this post, I ordered my stamps quickly. I had gotten the Alice $5 gift card from Swagbucks when they had it for 12 swags!!!!!
I am so glad you mentioned this! I was just trying to figure out the best way to use some “rewards” for Christmas card stamps!
THANKS!!
Can you only get the Alice gift card for your first purchase or can you get the Alice gift card every time you get up to 20sb?
It is only on a new Alice account. You can have a new account if you have multiple ppl in a household though. We have one account for me and one for my hubs. Then I had another gift card so I just sent stamps to my FIL whose house we are staying at during the holidays.
ok, so I took the Alice plunge and was going to buy the gc from sb, but in the details it says you must have the code during account sign-up. I created my account and nowhere did it ask for codes.
just click on live chat and they can help you.
Jessica– The code you’ll get from Swagbucks when you purchase the Alice e-card will be 15 characters.. At checkout just separate it into 3 sets of 5 and put it in the regular gift card section!
I’ve got a question about the $10 credit for $50 spent…do you have to spend $50 in one transaction, or does it add up over multiple transactions?
It is cumulative.
