I LOVE walmart on Black Friday, it’s my favorite place to go as it’s the most organized and every year they have always had plenty of the deals for everyone, at least at my stores. Not saying it isn’t crazy, lol but still my favorite place to go! Can’t wait to see there full ad!

I have never actually shopped during the peak of black friday. But I did work it for about 4-5 years at kmart, so I pretty much decided shopping that early isn’t for me. My plan of attack is go out around 10 when all the die hards have gone back to bed. :) But obviously I am shopping more for pop, pjs, and that kind of stuff. Not the big electronic items. Good luck to everyone that gets up early! I hope you get everything that you want! :)

I LOVE black friday and shop every year. went to walmart early and saw the doors already open last year. then come to find out they opened thanksgiving around 10 or midnight and you can wait in line with your items. (inside) Probably the best thing if you are going for electronics or you may not get it.

lines get long quick but if you get there early they move fast. They always check for id w/ credit cards too (love this).

Have fun and be prepared by going thanksgiving eve. (check to make sure your area store is doing this.

I went to my first black Friday last year and it was CRAZY! I have found at least for me the best plan of action I choose the #1 item you want and go for that first. Be realistic and know you may not get everything. If you don’t have a need to get the electronics you may wanna wait til around 8:30 when the crowds have died down and get what you want. Good luckand Have fun.

I am a advid black friday nut. Electronics will be the first thing to go so that is were you want to head first. Walmart should be the first store to stop by, being that is the first place everyone will go first. You want to know what you are getting or have some kind of idea. The key is to get in and get out and head to the next store. Good Luck!! I can’t wait.

I would definitely suggest going to a 24 hour Walmart where you can get everything you want and then wait in line until the office start time of Black Friday….this allows you to hit other stores early too!

Not sure about your Walmart, but ours is open 24/7 this time of year and they are letting people in to do their shopping, but will have to wait to check-out until 5am. Seems to help a little with the craziness. If you can do it, bring someone with you and have them jump in line immediately while you shop. Helps to cut down on the line time in the end!

Happy Black Friday Shopping!!!

My first stop every Black Friday is Wal-Mart. Mine is a 24-hour store also, however, they keep the skids of products bundled up until the official start time. So I can’t load up my cart and then wait in the checkout line. It’s crazy but in a fun way. Good luck!

Hi Charlene, according WalletPop all WalMarts will be open for 24 hours on Thanksgiving. They will have designated lines to get into for certain items, one line for TV’s, another line for the blue ray DVD player and so on. These lines will not open until 5:00am. Then the craziness will start. They are trying not get a huge line outside outsdie the store by doing this because of the employee who was killed last year. Yet there will be huge lines all over inside the store. In my area the WalMart will be at capacity probabaly by midnight of Thanksgiving. I know I will be there as the thrill of black friday is (mostly) fun for me.

Like Christina said some walmarts keep the stuff wrapped in plastic on the pallets until 5am so it doesn’t help to get there much earlier than that. I would check with your store on how they do it. My favorite part is that they price match so I pretty much go there and maybe a department store and that’s it!

my only tip is to be careful! there are some crazy people out there and one guy died last year shopping the day after Christmas!

Nicole@BugaboosCreations November 25, 2009 at 5:03 PM

Yeahhhh!! I have been looking through their website for deals that are in the ad to see if that item is available online and woohoo most that I want are. They have little notes by them on the website saying this will be available for purchase on….etc.

I can’t wait!!! Thanks So Much!
