target_logoThe Target deals are a little lackluster this week.  I am sure we will see lots of things pop up during the week so be sure to check back in!  You can see Target’s coupon policy HERE and you can see my Target vlog HERE.

No luck here either – I’ve tried the Target on Madison in N.Sac and Fairway in Roseville. Wasn’t able price match with the Target coupon and @ Madison they tried to claim that you had to use a coupon to get the price listed in the Toys R Us ad. I also had trouble with the 2 Barbie DVD’s – the register wouldn’t accept the $5 peelie – the mgr said it was because I was already using 2 Target coupons – I was buying the Barbie Doll and the dvds. I was able to price match the Christmas DVD since it didn’t have a coupon.
I was also told that you have to have the complete ad front – to back from the competitor and they have to keep it.

I have had luck at the Target in Rancho, the one in Elk Grove, the one on Fulton, and the one in W.Sac. I have used coupons with the matched price and I get to keep my ad. I was the first person to ask for price matching for three of the employees, but all went well. I take the ad and my purchases to the CS desk and ring up there. Then it is off to the cashier for the rest of my purchases.

I was able to price match the Barbie DVDs in the Brick, NJ Target and used the peelie and the Target coupon. I did this at the customer service desk and they were very nice. The register didn’t want to accept both coupons (peelie and Target coupon) so I asked her to please ask a manager. The manager was there in 5 seconds and put the coupon in without any problem. I paid $9.98 plus tax. My friend went to a Target in North Jersey at almost the same time and they wouldn’t even price match, they said something about the item has to be in the Target circular….

I have price matched and used both target coupons and man. Kind of a hassle though, doesn’t seem like they showed any of their employees how to do it. ugh

I’ve done it successfully in the Philly suburbs in PA…once. I price matched Chex Mix from Walgreens. I was told I needed to do it at customer service. The people who helped me were very nice, but it took them a little while to get it done. In the process they mentioned that “no one ever does it”. I would do it again – just haven’t had anything else to match yet!

Sarah it isn’t a matter of price matching- it is price matching AND using a Target coupon on the same item.

I had great success this past week-end with price matching AND using a Target coupon. ToysRUs had the Razor scooter on sale for $19.99 (normally $29.99 at Target). Customer Service matched the price at $19.99 and let me use the 20% off scooter coupon bringing my total to $15.99. . . yippee! The manager said she was getting ready to do the same thing for a gift for her daughter with TRU and Target coupons.

My Target has a large sign by the customer service desk that states they match competitors prices. I asked to verify. They said yes. I used my coupons and their coupons a few weeks ago and got 6 free Chex Mix.

I have had both a possitive and negative experiance with Target and price matching in eugene, Oregon. Was told every time that you have to have the whole ad front to back. I even made them make me a copy of the price match policy. Had them price match a Stars Wars Hyena Droid Bomber set (reg. $21.99) for the ad price of $6.99 at Shop-ko. What a deal. However a few week before I had a manager who was down right rude and would not price match the chex mix from Walgreens at 2 for $3 since the policy says it must be a single item. (I called corpate about it and they said it was fine). Had no issue using Target and manuf. coupons on the price match.
